I haven't learned Guard just yet; Instead I've been relying on Dodge Roll to avoid stuff.

Sure I'll take the ability list; every little bit helps. As for difficulty I'm doing Final Mix; no sense frustrating myself with Proud.
Alright, I'll PM you the PS2 ability list, since Final Mix HD is just a port of the PS2 Final Mix game. It's also a good thing that you aren't on Final Mix Proud, because the difficulty curve closes pretty quickly.

Another question, when you were asked those questions in the beginning, do you remember what you chose? Mainly because depending on what you choose determines how fast you level up in the game actually. ^.^

Yeah: The closest thing to me were friends, I was afraid of getting old, and my greatest desire was to see new places(even tough I would have chosen different things not in the answers in RL).

Think they will release a sound track for FM HD, would love to have it with my regular edition
The people on KH-Vids have been searching, but looks like there is nothing as of yet. So far the only way you can get the music is if you have a CFW PS3 or if you were to look it up on YouTube, although the music is just ripped from the actual game itself.

I hope there is, but the game has been out for months out in Japan, and usually the OSTs don't go outside of there, and there hasn't been one yet. *prays there will be*

So I finally beat Cerberus(thanks guys!) and my folks reaction to the game is a riot:

"It really is Yu-Gi-Oh meets Disney!"

"Sora's a mutant and his power is really big feet! Somebody do something about them, they're bigger than his head!"

I really want to do a Let's Play of them playing. XD
Heh, considering what Sora's original concept design was, they're not far off with the mutant comment :p

Do you remember what the game said about when your adventure would start? If it's in the morning, that means you'll have an easier time levelling up to 50, but it'll be harder afterwards. Midday or afternoon would be the same speed throughout, while if it's the dead of night, it'll take longer to reach 50 but much faster afterwards.

It said I would start in the morning; hopefully Level 50 should be enough to clear the main story.

Yeah, it should be enough (not like it would be difficult to get a few more levels if needed). It's really for those like me who just have to get to max level that it matters.

Me starting Proud: Ya, I've played KH games millions of times. I think I'm ready for this.
Me playing Proud: Pretty much everything can kill me in 3 hits or less? ..kay 0_____0
Me fighting Cerberus: *screams of agony*

Finishing Deep Jungle soon after beating Cerberus. Man that was tough (I was Lvl 14 btw). I remember being able to jump on his back in the PS2 version but I couldn't get up there for longer than a few seconds (usually by luck because my combo and Cerberus' movements swing me up). I know Clayton is in my near future, and that was the first time I remember getting genuinely stuck and bothered first time I played.

Loving it so far though! The colours are so vibrant and crisp.

Also, I'll say with genuine honesty that the reason why I didn't play the original KH more is that I would die a lot and have to watch the same cutscenes constantly. And now I get to SKIP them? Sweetess :3

I fear you are a bit underleveled right now. When I fought Opposite Armor in Traverse Town on Final Mix Proud and I was level 31. He hit me with his cannon blast and nearly killed me in one hit.
Believe me, you're gonna wanna train a lot. :p
When you get to about Level 50 though then you'll be fine.

Some random thoughts...

When I moved into my new apartment, the PS3 didn't come with me (on purpose). The really annoying thing is, I had fairly little to do over the summer, but there were no games I wanted to play. Now, this and GTAV are coming out and I wouldn't have the time to play them even if I could. I've been dying to play Re:COM for years (it was never released in Europe, for some bloody reason) so I'm pretty bummed about it. Still though, it'll be all the sweeter when I do get the chance to play it around Christmastime hopefully.

I've vaguely heard that SE made a few changes to the gameplay (of KH1), but to be honest, I haven't looked up any details so I don't know to what extent. The only things that bothered me about gameplay was jumping and (to a lesser degree) the camera, so I hope everything else is unchanged. If (HA!) they release a HD remake of KHII though, I will be rather perturbed if they don't remove those GODFORSAKEN reaction commands, or at least make them an option.

About Sephiroth: the bronze trophy thing is kinda weird but to be fair he was the easiest optional boss in my opinion. Do they give a trophy for beating the giant spectre in Neverland? Now HE was goddamn tough. Although maybe that's only because it took me ages to figure out how to stop the Doom timer, but still.

I'm glad they made Days a movie. That game was nearly irredeemable - it was the point where I felt the KH franchise was starting to suffer from "annual release cash cow" syndrome. I didn't like the story that much, but I guess it's inoffensive enough to warrant a second look. Especially if SE intend to re-use Xion, even if I rather they didn't. Most of the problems I had with the story though came down to the pacing (OH DEAR GOD THE PACIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGG ITNEVERENDS) and how fucking badly they mishandled The Organization. Most of that only lends itself to the in-game cutscenes (or in the game itself) so they wouldn't be noticeable if SE only packed the pre-rendered stuff.

I think that's all the stuff on my mind at the mo.

To answer you questions:

1. The game is the Final Mix version of Kingdom Hearts that was released back in 2002 on the PS2 only in Japan, so for American and European gamers it will be newer since Final Mix is different from Kingdom Hearts 1 in ways. For one many of the Dalmatian puppies had their locations changed, the treasure chests were changed so that they don't have common gummi ship parts; Gummi Ship missions were added in; most Heartless have had their pallets swapped to different colors; new synthesis items and changes to synthesis in general; 10 new Heartless were added into the game along with new rods and shields, and 2 new Keyblades (which kinda suck honestly :p); they rebalanced abilities and changed their AP requirements, some being lowered, while others were raised; changed the stats of certain Keyblades; added in new abilities and the ability to skip scenes; two new difficulties were added and the Heartless do more damage; Deep Dive secret ending was added. Oh and they moved the Red Trinity in Oogie's Manor to being down below so then you can still get it even if you destroy Oogie and finish Halloween Town.

Those are pretty much the changes in the Final Mix game that are kept in Final Mix HD. Only things changed were the camera being controlled by the right stick now, triangle is used to open boxes and talk to people, Summon has been moved to the bottom of the Command Menu

2. Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix Plus will be in the 2.5 HD ReMix that will be coming out next. It is hinted to contain Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix Plus, Birth by Sleep (Possibly the Final Mix), and they might do another cutscene style thing for Re: Coded, which I would love because Re: Coded doesn't need to be remade to be playable on consoles...>.>

3. All the hidden bosses- Sephiroth, Ice Titan, Phantom, Kurt Zisa, and the Unknown (Final Mix exclusive), will give you trophies, all of them are Bronze.
Note that the Phantom received a pallet swap, but Kurt Zisa did not.

Kurt Zisa... that was the one in Agrabah, I presume? If I had to guess, I'd say they swapped the skin on the Phantom so that he'd be easier to see (I recall that he sorta blended into the night sky).

No they just pallet swapped all the Heartless for the heck of it. It's something all the Final Mix games do actually, but you are correct about the reason as to why they changed the Phantom specifically to his pallet swapped colors.
Kurt Zisa is the one from Agrabah as well.

Is 2.5 HD confirmed?

Pretty much yeah. Mainly because in an interview before Nomura has said that it would be stupid to not remix Kingdom Hearts 2 in HD. Plus the credit sequence on the main game select menu that unlocks after you beat one of the games really shows it by showing Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts 2 stuff.
2.5 was announced around the time that 1.5 was announced, but obviously 1.5 was coming out first. Not many details have been revealed about 2.5, but I'll probably do news stories on my channel for it like how I did for the HD 1.5 up till it came out in Japan, and then after that all I did was announce when it was going to be coming out in Europe and Australia.

Interesting seeing how BBS was never put on PSN...still annoyed by that move.

This might be the reason really. When it comes to Birth by Sleep it was supposed to be a PS2 game, but it was shifted over to the PSP, making people think it was some sorta spinoff. Which is sad because in all honestly Birth by Sleep has some of the best combat in the entire series really, well in my opinion. ^.^
We'll wait and see. In the meantime, go and play some more 1.5. I'd play some more, but I've been doing that for a long time now...and it's to the point to where whenever I play an American release I get confused about the buttons since in Japan the Circle button is the attack and select button, while the X button is to jump and go back...

I have it and started it but Mass Effect 3 needs to be finished first. The whole "suppose to be a PS2 game" is odd seeing how BBS came out when around 2010/2011 well after the PS2 was "dead". Oh well having more KH games on a newer system only reminds me I should get a second PS3 as back up when my current one dies since PS4 isn't BC...

Technically no it wasn't. The PS2 still had games released on it in 2010. The last game was made, or in this case will be made, for the PS2 is FIFA 14 and that releases on September 24th of this year.
The mighty PS2 lived for a long time, almost the longest, but unfortunately it didn't beat the Atari for longest life span of a console.
