I've never played a Kingdom Hearts game but I've always wanted to. I'm right in thinking it's a kind of Final Fantasy/Disney crossover aren't I? Or have I completely got the wrong end of the stick?

I think I'll just wait until it is announced like I do with ever game, instead of speculating whether it will be released.

But I'd like another Gary-Stu and friends game. Loved the game, but I thought Sora was a bit of a Gary-Stu.

Ok So let me clarify most of what I am gonna say is fact and canon. Oh and also yay 1st post I was drwan in by 2 things I saw a thread involving flaming and a thread about KH ( my 2 great passions)

OK so NOW the Facts
Ok there are 3 known games coming out namely KH:coded, KH: 358/2 days, and KH:Birth By sleep
To start with coded is a Cellphone game( which god damn wont work on my nokia) It is a re-telling of KH1. You play as king Mikey because as it turns out he has the technology required to make a virtual world, So using the data from jimmineys Journal he replays the first game to find out the cause of the inconsistencys in his journal( NOTE not the whole forgetting for a year because of Naminae, It has been stated to be more important)

Next is KH385/2 days Which is a DS game which is about Roxas' time in Orginization XIII from the time Sora was put to sleep till the time Roxas was captured. It has been stated that all members are playable. There is also a 14th member a girl named "Xion" who's fate has been described as "Brave but tragic" and she can also use the keyblade for an, as of now, undisclosed reason.

Lastly KH: Birth By Sleep the PSP game which is set 10 years before the First game. The main Characters are NOT Sora, Donald, and Goofy. They are The 3 apprentices of an unkown keyblade master, Namer Ventus, Terra, Aqua. They have been tasked with findind Master Xehanort and his apprentice, beacuse their disappearnce foreshadows a terrible calamity. It has been Stated that their will be 3 diffrent paths to play in the game in each one you will play one of the diffrent Keybladers. Also there are new enemies called unbirths.

Considering BBS is the one that really doesn't give me an ulcer just by looking at it, I'll just talk about that one. The Game stars Terra- Looks like Zack from FF7 and is power based, Ven- Looks like Roxas and is speed based, and Aqua- Looks like Kairi with blue hair and is magic based. Takes place 10 years before KH1 and has something to do with finding a Bald guy that may or may not be the real Xehanort, but the plot is kept so tightly under wraps not even the US milltary will be able to get a hold of more then whats already been revealed. I've seen some combat videos, and it looks pretty good. It looks heavly based on previous KH games (obviously) with a few new tricks, like when Ven goes into a targeting mode and cuts up everything that got tagged. The magic also looks like it got upgraded, with old spells haveing new forms, and whole new spells like Vens Zero Gravity spell that makes enemies float helplessly throught the air, as is they had just died and ended up in Dead Space. Reaction comands and transformations also seem to be in the mix, though I don't know the way they'll be inplemented. That's pretty much all I got, and conserning the actual KH3, it's safe to say that there will be videos at the end of the three confirmed titles that hint at the next intsallment.

Its a shame I only have a DS and PS2. I'll miss out on the PSP version and KH3 will most likely go to PS3.

You could play as Riku in Chain of Memories after you complete Sora's Story, which unlocks Riku's Tale: Reverse/Rebirth, do you think that could fit into Birth by Sleep

There's not a lot of information readily available about it, unfortunately. Square's been feeding information about the spinoffs pretty regularly, but as far as the flagship title of the franchise goes, they've been mum. Certainly works, if they're trying to build suspense.

I do know these things about it, though;

1. Keyblades will be in it.

2. There will be discussion of "darkness", "hearts", "light", "nobodies" and "worlds".

3. Wall-E will be in it.

Okay, so that last one's just wishful thinking. A guy can dream, right?

Also the 3 that are coming out aren't direct sequalls they are KH3 in the sense that they are the 3rd generation of KH

ok, i dont hav anything new about KH3 but i do know the release date for 385/2 it is somtime in December 2009. also for all u wimps who dont know how to level Drive forms go to timeless river aND play all the levels as wisdom and just shoot all of em to death, as for master form, just use ur lightning and ull win easy, xcept when final form, go to WTNW (World that never was) and go to hall of empty melodies and travel as far as u can in final! there u go.

i was watching a show online saying that kingdom hearts might be on the 360 which probably means that it will be the third installment because all the prequels are coming out for handhelds. i.e. 386/2 days, coded and birth by sleep.

the reason it hasn't come out is because they are making the 3 other games, Coded (for celluliar phone) 358/2 Days (Nintendo DS) and Birth By Sleep (PSP) so it IS i repeat IS coming out. and be patient u guys, id like to see u try to make a video game as good as this.
