Why are we talking about Kingdom Hearts 3 now? Birth By Sleep, KH: 358/2, aren't even close to release, and we have THREE other Final Fantasy's on the way. Are you guys really that impatient that you're predicting way ahead of Square-Enix themselves? Chill out. Buy a PSP & a DSi, write Kingdom Hearts fan-fiction, beat Sephiroth or Terra a few times, make a few conspiracies, then bite your finger nails for a few years. If you run out, bite your toenails.
Kingdom Hearts 3 isn't coming any time soon, so why jump the gun?

ok, i need to get this off of my chest: THEY NEED TO STOP GOING TO THE SAME DAMN WORLDS. i mean, i love beauty and the beast, aladdin, the nightmare before christmas, and the little mermaid. i grew up on those movies. but they really need to stop going back to those freaking worlds. hell, i was ecstatic when i found out that ancient china was going to be one of the worlds in KH2, but then i saw that we were going to be returning to halloween town, and my heart sunk. i mean, seriously, guys, think about all the different worlds they could go to, and- *catches inner raving fangirl, shuts her up and stuffs her in a closet*

Hollow Bastion is completely different from KH1 - CoM this time, you never went to Beast's Castle in the previous ones, and most of the time when you did go to the same world as the others had, it had a completely different setting, and level design to do. Olympus Coliseum, you only stayed in one area, in KH2 you went to the Underworld.

I don't know exactlly what you want to know all that is known is that it follows the parents of sora, riku, and kairi and about some keyblade war. But that wouldn't be fun would it, I suspect you will probably pop into sora's body after the events of the 2nd game. There is more info I'm sure but I don't want to list it all.

Sure, like many of you, I would love for them to make a KH3. I would also love for a cure for cancer, but alas i'm not superman. As for characters and storylines, who cares? I went into KH2 blind. I was suprised to not be playing as sora at the beginning. It was nice to start a new adventure with a new character. And my comments on the games being made as a backstory for a yet to be made game. MILK THAT CASH COW!

If anyone really needed an umpteenth opinion its just Birth By Sleep and 350-something (I think) and a Half Days plus some crappy mobile phone game that's on sqeenix's slate right now. Its supposed to follow that, I hope.
