New Worlds, of course. I'm okay with the 3 party set, as I am with Winnie the Pooh being a nice little aside. Along with that, I like the Keyblade designs, and new ones would be amazing, as always. I do want a Riku/Kairi part in the next one, where they together have to find Sora, and I'd much prefer it if they didn't move it forward from one of the handheld games--I find them trivially annoying and gaping plot holes that I'm not bothered enough to like.
Kairi needs a bigger spot. She spends how much of the first two games captured? Then she gets a weapon for exactly one scene and proves to be pretty decent with it. She better not be shoved aside to sit on Destiny Islands again.

Also, having Mickey/Riku in your party like someone else said wouldn't hurt either. And I want Riku to be badass again. His moveset consists of a lot of jumping and spinning (inaccurate as crap), a shield if you get hit, and some puny fireballs (what happened to Dark Firaga?). His limit is flashy, but the game is too easy outside of boss fights (and the attack is trash when you actually reach a boss).

Kingdom Hearts would be a whole lot better without Disney characters. I'm a fan of the series but I think it needs to grow up a little. Ugh. Friendship speeches...
Edit: I do like the Disney characters, but the relationships Sora made with them were a little... weird. They could keep them if the game did grow up like I mentioned before.

If I could have my way, I'd make a star wars planet (based on 4-6) and make darth vader a really tough boss, who becomes a party member you can play as when you beat him. Also get serj tankian to do the soundtrack. No way this is going to happen, but it's just what I want. My smallest ask is to make it for pc or 360 so I don't have to buy a ps3 for it.
I really like the idea of including more FF characters. And more than 3 in a party would be a cool concept.
And yes, no more Winnie the Pooh. The mini games are not very fun, and they could make one of the other 100000 Disney movies have a world. Whatever happened to Cinderella? Or Snow White?
Or how about the Lion King.
And it should not be hand held. As much as I love Chain of Memories, I hate fighting with cards.

1) Assign guarding to a shoulder button. I died so many times in KH because I could never get the timing down for blocking. I think the best approach would be the God of War 2 style of guarding, in that holding down the button blocks most attacks, but tapping it the right before the attack hits would store the energy of the attack, or reflect the projectiles. Yeah, that could work...
2) Make two shortcut menus. One could be used to assign Magic and Items, and they would be selected with the face buttons. The other one could be for selecting Drives, limits, and summons, and could be mapped to the directional pad. Just hold down L1, and select the thing you want to use.
3) Give us more freedom in customizing Sora and the party members. Preferably, allow us to distribute stat points whenever a character levels up. I think the Torchlight approach would work best, where you selected a "class" (in this case, sword, shield, or staff) at the beginning, but are free to customize the characters however you want. Each time you level up, you get 5 skill points to increase your Strength, Magic, and Defense, and you get to select a new ability from a "tree" of abilities. This would allow us to create our own party, and add a bit more depth. If accessibility is what you're worried about, then just put in an auto-leveling option for new players.
4)Worlds from other Disney movies. I'd die to see The Hunchback of Notre Dame in KH3, and Pocahontas and other older Disney worlds would be a treat too. Heck, even put stuff in from the recent GOOD stuff (Atlantis: the Lost Empire, Treasure Planet, Dinosaur, etc.), or, if you can, I'd like to see some stuff from PIXAR (Toy Story in KH3, anyone?) And hey, since Disney owns Marvel now, let's see some Marvel characters! The list goes on! Just PLEASE no Disney Channel garbage, please?
And if I see ONE reference to Jonas Brothers, High School Musical, or Hannah Montana, I'm burning my disk.
5) This might be a bit of an overkill, but how about seeing Sora use some of the Organization's weapons? Maybe he has to defeat a ghost of an Organization member, then when he kills it, he gets their weapon! Xigbar's guns for long range, Lexaeus's tomahawk for heavy damage, Vexen's shield for Defensive, or maybe Demyx's Sitar for summoning expendable goons! Be creative!
