I played the first one, and found it to be pretty bad.
I just didn't have that much fun playing it.

And you shall get our opinions
I loved Kingdom Hearts and while I thought 2 was much easier, it was more fluent and smoother

I adore both of them.

I'm only going to say that, because if I continue, I will awaken my inner fan-boy and start rambling.

I thought they were fun, gameplay ride, but the story is so rediculously convoluted and far too serious considering the characters in it. I mean, it isn't bad, and it's a bit of a fun ride, but it's just so weird...

Yeah, most of the problems with #1 were fixed in #2. The game seemed more deep, epic, fun, smooth, and intuitive. And of course the Org. was a lot cooler than Maleficent as an enemy.

I'm actually playing the first Kingdom Hearts. Honestly I really enjoy this game and dont have much to complain about, other than the fact that the difficulty curve is more like a giant roller coaster that can drive you nuts.

I enjoyed all of the games so far (except RE: chain of memories on the ps2) I think people don't like it because of the fanbase most likely.

It was one of those game I avoided for quite a while, just for having Disney in it. I also didn't realize Square had been behind it until later, wherein which I got intrigued, and proceeded to play it. It has a great mashup story, and I like how light hearted it can take the plot. And if theres one thing that can pulled from Disney effectively, its the environments.

Besides being extremley linear I found it mostly enjoyable, I didn't mind the PG-13 story so much. The battle system was my favorite aspect of the game, plus the art looked nice.

meh, it was just too standard for my tastes. Also, mixing beloved disney characters with angsty JRPG androgynous "heroes" doesn't suit my pallette.

Playing through the second one right now actually. I was very skeptical of the series at first, and once I got over the childishness, I found a great game underneath. The addition of the Nightmare Before Christmas levels won me over.

Plus the 1000 heartless fight is one of the most epic moments I have ever played in my video gaming memory

I love the games. They combine nostalgia, good story, and good gameplay. They fill this little niche for me.
