And you shall get our opinions
I loved Kingdom Hearts and while I thought 2 was much easier, it was more fluent and smoother

Oh and I can't wait for 3
hit the nail on the head right there, I didn't like one as much as two, so I just don't play one ^_^
Here's hoping for 3 to be just as good as 2 was to 1
Here's hoping! *goes to play 358/2 days*

I like the series and I've played them all (ok, minus the new DS one) but I'm not CRAZY over it. I used to be when I was younger and it was like...the only game I had ever played (back in 6th grade) but I've come to find that there are much better games out there that I like so much more.
And I will continue to play any KH game that comes out, just because I like it so much, though I will admit that it's more or less a guilty pleasure that I don't really like to admit that I have.

The story's cute but it takes itself too seriously, which makes it funny a lot of the time. xD

I love the games but I do have one small gripe. The games should have ended after KH2 the spin-offs are fine but if they make a Kingdom Hearts 3 it might just kill the series. Kingdom Hearts 2 ended perfectly no need to ruin that.
Yeah, they don't really need a 3, but maybe it's a complete wrap-up storyline.

I adore Kingdom Hearts. The first one was one hard son of a *****, and I played it when I was pretty young, so some parts of it took me an eternity. (I never beat Sephiroth!) Two was also pretty amazing, but lacked the reward of the challenge that the first one had. By that I mean it was piss easy and a four year old could kick its ass any day of the week. Chain of Memories, in my opinion, was balls. I didn't like the weird card combat system at all, and Riku at the end of the game is impossible. 358/2 Days is okay. I'm playing it right now, not far into it at all, but I think it's average. Hard, like the first one, but for some reason it doesn't appeal to me in the same way. Maybe I'm just bored of visiting Agrabah for the uber-bazillionth time. I believe that they need to get some new worlds. Maybe reverse the roles, have us go to places from all the 50 Final Fantasy games out there and have Disney sidekicks. Just a thought.

That is my very detailed, long and monotonous opinion. Feel free to take naps while reading it.

Kingdom Hearts is my favorite JRPG. That said, I still dislike the game on almost every level related to actually playing the game. I enjoy the art direction and the story, but the actual mechanics of Kingdom Hearts and every other JRPG seem designed to annoy me.

I was really skeptical about playing them... I saw them and was all, "Disney/Square hybrid, wha?" but after a lot of coaxing from a friend I finally broke down and played them. They were fun enough and the game play is good if you like abusing the X button on your controller. I'm looking forward to 3 but I haven't and probably won't play any of the handheld editions.

I got the first as a random free game with my PS2 and was like whats this odd game, looks childish... figured I may as well play it and I really enjoyed it. Final Fantasy styled with Disney characters and all nice and simple, but still good fun to play.

I am actually playing the first one now.
i had heard about it for a while, and people shoving the hype down my throat. Now I don't get beat over the head with the hype anymore, I thought I would try it to see what it was about.

When I got over the childishness and androgynous angsty 'I am going to cut myself after this fight' anime characters, it was a somewhat enjoyable decent game.
I think it would have been a lot better without the final fantasy characters and general anime-esque characters.
Well Riku is alright from what I have seen, he isn't super emo angst or trying to be a badass. (From what I have seen)

I didn't enjoy kingdom hearts, it felt like playing "Cash in: The game". But other people enjoy it so maybe I'm just jaded.

I didn't really like it, probably because my X button on my PS2 controller was broken and I couldn't attack...

I haven't played number two, but I've played number one a few times. They're good games but the thing that gripes me are the stupidly long, unskippible cut scenes. Some games will let you cut through if you've died after a cut scene and it needs to play it again, but KH doesn't which annoys me to no end.
