I can't stand Kingdom Hearts.

Granted, we may have all had dreams of being in Mickey Mouse cartoons from time to time as children, but KH is like watching someone else fulfill those dreams, and the result is rather embarrassing, disconcerting, and foolish.

I just think that the whole key to the worlds, and "we must open the doors" was kind of confusing. Don't get me wrong I played the first two games and enjoyed playing through it's just i didn't quiet get the story line

I disliked it from the premise. I felt it was a ridiculous mix of characters. When I played it, I found it to be boring. I also thought the keyblade was a little over the top.

I love the games but I do have one small gripe. The games should have ended after KH2 the spin-offs are fine but if they make a Kingdom Hearts 3 it might just kill the series. Kingdom Hearts 2 ended perfectly no need to ruin that.

I honestly like the game. They're fun and cute and not entirely too difficult (like I found my first Final Fantasy game).

The story is starting to become what would happen if you kept making sequels to any single Final Fantasy game, rather than just continuing with vaguely unrelated stories.

Okay, so, I can accept that Heartless are taking everybody's hearts to open Kingdom Hearts or something. That's okay. It's an RPG.

But the Nobodies don't make much sense because they seem to be dictated by plot rather than logic.

Okay, is Xehonart/Xemnas Ansem's imposter or is Xehonart the old guy from the Birth By Sleep videos?

Where's Riku's Nobody? Is that Ansem? How come Sora has two (Xion and Roxas)? So, there are more than one Keyblade wielders, but there was some kind of war that killed a bunch of them. That would mean all those Keyblade wielders, who lost their hearts, would turn into human-Nobodies, ya? Why isn't there a sea of Human-Nobodies, rather than just thirteen (six of which are scientists).

And now we have a THIRD group to complete the Nobody-Heartless triforce that will be featured in Birth By Sleep and I JUST DON'T KNOW ANYMORE.

That being said, they're still a fun group of games. I fear the story has JRPG Plot Syndrome, though.

I loved the games, but the second one had a huge difficulty drop. I remember cursing my television set in the first one while fighting Riku, and then the cutscenes, god forbid there skipable... But, they were both great games, just the second one was softened up, big time.
The first thing I noticed about KH2 was that they seemed to become cutscene happy. You can't make it through the first world without triggering like ten cutscenes overall.

Kingdom Hearts.

To me, the most Awesome thing since sliced bread.

While the difficulty is pretty low, there's a lot of depth for the people who want to dive in.

However, bear in mind, that the games are awesome, but roughly 89.9% of the fanbase is atrocious. This is, of course, in reference to the Yaoi fangirls.

I like it.

But I also have a tendency to ignore the fact that you can beat Kingdom Hearts with the analog stick and the X button.

However if you can get past that and the somewhat ridicules mixing of Disney and original characters, it's a polished RPG with fine presentation, lasting value, and a very good soundtrack. (Which feels a bit strange coming from a guy who loves Five Finger Death Punch and All That Remains.)

Lmmfao, ok, maybe calling myself a fan-boy was abit much, however, watching the intro, listening to the game music or even just thinking about the game makes me very upset for some reason...so maybe I just need help haha...
Don't worry about it, I'm a SquareEnix/SquareSoft fanboy, I buy nearly every game they throw out and love half of them, some of them I know I might not like so it's fine with me
Maybe we both need help xD

I liked all three of them. The romantic underpinning strikes a cord with me and I loves me some Disney. Of course the card system in chain of memories can go burn in the deepest bowls of hell.

I really liked both 1, 2, CoM, and hopefully will enjoy 358/2 days when I finally buy it. The combat was fun and looked amazing, the plot was complex in a good way, and there were quite a few Crowning Moments of Awesome.

Also, KH2 made me cry.

Well, Square are my Gods..................
I looooove Disney and NO, I'm not going to apologise (Walt died on my first birthday)
I love the games, there are 3 gamers in our house and 3 copies of KH1 and KH2!
And I can't finish the game UNTIL all those little Dalmatians are safely back home.

Edit- If you check that fact about Walt you will see I am 43 (nearly 44)

Kingdom Hearts is one of the best RPG's out there, and Kingdom Hearts 2 is even better (although they are both a bit TOO easy).

I'm actually playing the first Kingdom Hearts. Honestly I really enjoy this game and dont have much to complain about, other than the fact that the difficulty curve is more like a giant roller coaster that can drive you nuts.
Same here (right at this moment, even), except I'm not having any problems with the difficulty curve. I wonder why that is...did you get the slower-leveling path or something?
I probably did without knowing it. What i do know is that the level cap is 100 and im only at 53......i have a loooooooooooong way to go.

The fanbase is a piece of shit. Easily one of the most annoying fanbases you will ever encounter. Full of tween girls who <3 supa-kawaii Sora and write gay fanfics about him.

It's basically equivalent to the Twilight fanbase, only not quite as bad.

This comes from someone who loved KH1, but found KH2 to be a piece of shit.

Not sure what level I'm at, at the moment (probably around 45 or so). Doesn't seem to have mattered so far, the only thing I've ever had to leave off while I went to level was that singlehanded fight against Leon and Yuffie. Haven't faced any other insurmountable challenges so far (some pretty difficult challenges, but not insurmountable).

Just finished Neverland and the Hercules Cup, need to find out what that next world is...
