Sometimes I try to make suggestions. Then they look at me like I'M the asshole.
Is that because what you're really making are requests?
No.
Maybe.
...

Yes...

But still!

I personally dislike all public displays of affection; what an evil person I am (Although holding hands/hugging are pretty much an exception to all people).

However, if two gay guys were to kiss in public, it wouldn't bother me for one reason - It would bother everyone else. It would show their hypocrisy and make them skin-headed charvers angry, which is worth it.

EDIT: 1000 posts. Nice.

If I'm sitting and hanging out with some friends, I don't want them doing shit in front of me. I mean, a kiss every once in a while is good, but making out, and other stuff is just unnecessary.

to be honest id rather not see anyone from any sexual orientation being overly affectionate in public, i personally thin things like that should be done in private.
but a kiss is ok, its when people hold up a queue so they can gob each other for 5 mins then yeah i have a problem

I get bothered when I see other people kissing regardless of their sexual orientation. I've always been like this. Not amazingly bothered to the point that I have to look away but just bothered.

It really wouldn't bother me, with regular constraints about not attempting to eat the other person's face.

Thsi thread reminds me of a great sketch from the comedian Russel Howard though, with two gay men kissing on an airplane. Somebody gets freaked out and yells at them to stop since it's 'unnatural', so one of the gay men turns around, says "you're flying," and goes back to the kissing.

I can't say that I don't mind it, but I mind it when straight couples show excessive PDA just as much.

If it's just random people in some random place where it's more 'appropriate' and easy to ignore, I don't care.

But if it's two people in a lecture hall, sitting in the row in front of me, yes I have a fucking problem. Luckily that has happened during one course. Those little horny turds just couldn't control their tongues, they were constantly in eachothers mouths. So the reason I'm so upset about it is that it was really no place to be doing that. I'm quite sure the only thing they learned during those lectures was what the other persons teeth taste like and that's something they could've learned at home.

I don't dislike public affection in general, BUT when they stand there for 8 hours and are STILL going at it then I get quite irritated... could they keep the pornshow @ home please... some people are trying to eat..

(Overstated, but still true)

I'm lesbian, but before I realised I was (just before I turned 20), I found myself absolutely disgusted by any homosexual signs of affection (internalized homophobia, yo). After I figured it out, I'm pretty much ok with whatever. My least favourite is two men kissing, just because I don't like men, but it doesn't bother me. Even two girls kissing in front of me makes me feel uncomfortable if they're really going for it.

TL;DR - Nah, PDA's are fine, as long as they're not OTT.

I don't really give a shit, to be honest. Whoever wants to kiss whoever else is fucking welcome to, be they gay, straight, whatever. As long as they're not too loud or getting in my fucking face, they can do what they like.

As soon as someone starts being obnoxious about it, though, you can bet I will tell them. There is a difference between planting a kiss on someone you love and mauling each other in lust. That second thing is annoying, regardless of who's doing it. Nobody wants to see it. You're just making everyone who is not me uncomfortable and everyone who is me irritated.

Seriously, shit is just inconsiderate.

Forget the suggestions and just dump a bucket of cold water on them.:p

I have no problem with people showing their affection in public, regardless of gender, I just tend to turn away and give them some privacy. Seriously getting it on in public is not so good, unless its a party and I'm shitfaced enough not to care. (Well, I never get completely shitfaced, just various degrees of merry). If they're ever basically fucking in public, then thats something I really don't need to see.

Not at all. I'm perfectly fine with it. :D

Um... I'm avoiding this question to avoid offending people and an inferno. :/

No, love is love and if two people wish to express their love for each other in an affectionate(non-sexual intercourse in public) way, that is their choice and no one is forced to look at them. :p

My basic point is, Love. That is all.

[sub]Though, I really wouldn't mind if they started fucking in public :/, see if I care. :/[/sub]

Ditto
Even on the reason why I didn't answer the second question? :p

Typical straight man here. It does make me a little uncomfortable to witness two men kissing one another passionately... in much the same way that it bothers me to see people I consider very ugly kissing passionately. I don't make any excuses for it, I know it's a little bigoted, but hey... that's just how I am.
