That's not free speech if you say that, though. The whole point is that there's no grand high greybeard moral guardian saying what is and is not "worth" listening to--otherwise that's, you know,
not free speech.
Maybe there are some things that are just not intrinsically worth listening to, but I'm not going to trust anyone to make that judgment for me but myself. I'm especially not going to trust anyone who goes out of their way to get appointed to a position of moral guardianship, because those people tend to have a more restrictive vision than I do. There are millions of people who would tell you that Pulp Fiction, my favorite film, a multi-layered storytelling showcase containing some of the best-written dialogue ever penned, is not "worth" watching. Screw those people--I gained something by watching it, and it didn't hurt me any.
