How exactly do you fail a driving test 959 times? I took a practice test before my actual test, and my actual test had the same questions on it; do they just make a new test every day?

This woman should not be rewarded. She should be punished. Being determined is one thing but failing a simple written driving test 959 times is not an accomplishment, it is a failure. I pity the poor slobs that are in her way on the road.

I would think this is a bad thing, if she can't drive why does she get a car what is that a dealership special or something?

No this is a person you do not want driving a vehicle. They should have told her sorry no more chances after the 100th try.
I'm going to go with 10th, unless she's got any diagnosed brain disorder.
Considering it's an old Korean Lady and she failed the written part of the test, actual driving ability may not have any part in the matter.

She'll crash in the first month, I'll bet about 10 bucks on that.
She only failed the writing part. The one time she finally got to the driving part of the test, she passed.

Deal, still stands, though. We'll exchange paypal info.

Out of curiosity do you have to pay to take the written exam in the USA?

I mean, to take that test 960 times in the UK it'd cost you around £29,000 ($35,000ish).

Wow, just wow. The license is pushing it but giving her a free car? That is very stupid. Lets wait a few weeks and wait to hear about when she crashes the new car into a Walmart.
She failed the written part not the practical part.

Watch, tommarow we're gonna hear "Korean woman crashes new Kia 959 times, gets out of her parking spot 960th time. Kia gives her another car"

Hey, she could drive the car. She just couldn't write about it. Yet again the Escapist proves itself largely incapable of reading more than the title of a thread before posting.

Kia handed her the keys to a brand-new Soul.
Anyone else lol a bit about their choice of what car to give her?
I didn't notice, but now that you mention it I think I will lol a little.

It was done in Korea, and it cost her something like £4,200.
Ah okay. I was under the impression it was a Korean woman living in the USA.

Wow, it's like a lottery of failure!

Still, she did it which means she can drive now. What do you call a doctor who graduates at the bottom of his class after failing several classes repeatedly and taking an extra three years? Doctor!

I admire her persistence, I would have given up after a few weeks.

And getting a Soul is actually almost a punishment for her, has anybody here been behind the wheel of one of the things? A shopping cart with hard seats.

Wow, does it not cost to take the test over there?

It's like £30 a pop for the written part over here. That would have mounted up :L
