I say fair play to her. I remember reading about her in a UK paper back at attempt 900 I think, where she said she wanted to pass simply so she could say she had. I don't see anything wrong with that.

As for people saying "I'm glad she's not driving anywhere near me" that could be said about alot of people. The requirements vary from country to country. I believe it's India where to pass all you have to do is drive 100m in a straight line, turn around and drive back the 100m. If you do that, you've passed.

Wow, just wow. The license is pushing it but giving her a free car? That is very stupid. Lets wait a few weeks and wait to hear about when she crashes the new car into a Walmart.

Seriously, it was the written test she had problems with. It could be due to dyslexia or just difficulties with the language. That doesn't make you a bad driver...

She only failed the writing part. The one time she finally got to the driving part of the test, she passed.
