I see, that does sound fun, but the witch's power would need to be nerfed considerably. The way the witch works now is it is incredibly fast and incaps a survivor by touching it once. This is balanced out by the fact that it goes away after killing one survivor. If you were allowed to attack more than one survivor and incap them with one hit the game would end too quickly.

Area damage on infected, more weapons, Melee weapons, AI Director changing the landscape, an interesting but unobtrusive story, more variety in infected, more levels...OH WAIT, WERE GETTING THAT!

On another note, Id like a few more choices in the game besides which zombie to shoot first. Like, a short, deadly path or a long, safer path, doors that can be boarded up, wasting time but slowing infected, and Crescendo events where there's things to do besides shooting, like a player turning a crank, carrying supplies, operating machinery or something.

Last thing I want to see is an integration between the 2 games. Frankly, I don't like the new characters, and basically want to see the game improved instead of an entirely new game. So I hope I can still discover more interesting things that Francis hates.

Yeah I see your point. It would have to be a new, weaker version of the Witch. Maybe a Bioshock, Little Sister-esque model haha.

Knowing Valve, they'll have stuff we wouldn't think of and it'll be well worth it. All I would add is game mechanics that mean teams have to actually keep running and fighting instead of camping all the time. Which Valve is doing anyway.

lets say that two survivors have guns and the other two only have pistols (or maybe a melee weapon or two) and they come across a dead farmer with a shot gun, vowella! this type of way of finding weapons could be applied to any other weapon, military locations and police buildings could have armouries of tier two weapons (assault rifle, auto shotgun, hunting rifle) and you could just find weapons randomly throughout the world.
This would make the game 50 times better and replayable

I would add Nemesis from RE3 as a new infected and stalks you throughout the whole level without dieing and can kill you in one hit. gets more faster throughout the level.

new maps, maybe a rural setting, or near a reservoir, or something.

More special infected, like a telekinises one or something.

survivors able to drive vehicles. If I see a bicycle lying around, i will try and ride it...
