L4D2, What would you add?

A choice of Sidearms, rather then the choice of 1 pistol or 2. Like a higher calibre revolver or even a sawnoff shotgun. As in what you prefer, Ammo Capacity or Power.

The original cast, I dont like the new guys. I'd like that stupid country music for the horde rushes removed since it was just the dumbest thing I've heard.

A $50 rebate.

I second that, or at LEAST a discount for those who have it. It's insane that they put a second game out so soon while not doing anything they promised for the first one.

Excuse me? They put out free DLC, which for most people meant at least 20 hours of gameplay, if not more.

All the boycotters have yet to show me one citation of Valve making a promise about L4D which they haven't yet done good on.

They promised Team Fortress 2 like support, meaning new stuff as time goes by. They added 1 gameplay mode and finished the rest of Verses. They said the would add new characters, new weapons, new levels, new movies. L4D has been out less than a year and they're putting out a sequel already and expect us to believe they'll support the first one still? I'm not saying I want Left 4 Dead 2 to be made free, I'd like an explanation why I bought a game that was promised to grow and did little of that before they're offering a sequel.

I'm sure the sequel will be great (if they take out the stupid country music) but I bought Left 4 Dead on the promise of Team Fortress 2 like support (since I love Team Fortress 2 and play that a lot I expected a lot from it)and I got most of my friends to get the game as well and Valve didn't deliver. So would it be too much to ask that they give a discount those who have the first game?

I'm not sure about a discount, but I'd love it if players who own L4D could get to play the old maps, campaigns and characters in L4D2.

Oh, and most importantly. FIX THE BUGS! L4D1 still has far too many bugs. It is rare to complete a campain without at least one person have a game crash or the server crash.

More destructive environmental stuff. Blowing up an explosive barrel here, dropping a bridge on some unsuspecting zombie's there. The usual stuff.

i like this idea, being able to sculpt the entire environment depending on how u approach it.

- More destructive environment, even things like collapsing a ceiling to block a doorway. If the Tank can do it, four people armed with lots of explosives and guns can.
- Able to construct barricades; in fact, make it a requirement of some levels.
- Not too many new special infected, just tweak the old ones to being absolutely awesome.
- The old four characters such as Zoey and Francis make a return as infected, for lulz.
- Thriller-dance taunt for zombies in versus.
- "Meet The" videos for all of the special infected.

heres a thought, have a trade in plan

heres how it goes, you bring in your copy of left 4 dead and the stor gives you a large discount on left 4 dead 2, so it feels mpre like your just buying an expantion pack. however if you don't have a copy of left 4 dead then you have to pay full price.

since valve has stated they will include the four original campaigns this won't be a big loss if you already own it and if you don't then your paying full price for a full price game, good idea... right?

I'm not one of those people who just want L4D2 for free. I'm genuinely upset that they didn't do what they said and released a sequel less than a year later. I'm not saying L4D2 is a bad idea but they never finished plans for the first game and they're releasing a $50USD sequel less than a year later. I trust valve to do the right thing, and they probably will make good on this. I look forward to the sequel but I'm hoping for some form of discount for this. :\

technically the "zombies" in left 4 dead arn't zombies their infected, living humans infected with a rbies like virus.

What i learned recently is that thats how the myths about vampires stared, if you look into it what vampires are "afraid of", or w/e, is very similar to rabies.

i like my last two ideas more
