On a related note, I find it funny how the title says that a lack of a Twilight game has cost the industry millions. Saying it cost them anything implies a loss, but you can't lose what you never had.

Well his tone about the idea is a great start. He announces it as a shameless cash in. I honestly don't think it would be. In all seriousness how many people that give a crap about video games, are also huge enough twighlight fans to buy a hastily thrown together Wii/ DS game.

Tell you what, make it Twilight vs Vampires Los Muertos, and I'll play it. Long as I can play as Bon Jovi putting crossbow rounds through emo teenagers that like tomato juice I'll grab a copy.

No, not a good idea. As popular as it is, I don't think the demographic is really the gaming type. It doens't seem that way to me anyways.

You know what I would like to see? More games about real vampires, playing a vampire as you suck blood from hapless victims at night. Turning into a bat to feed on the unsuspecting in their houses, then resting during the day to do is more the next night.

No possible way a game based off of this series would be worth the production time or budget. It would be just pandering to the same wide and shallow demographic that loves slinging flowers at mediocrity.

Here's what kind of game we could expect to come out of the twilight series:

The Twilight Series: The Game... the game based off of the stories about a young woman's choice between necrophilia and bestiality.

Besides, most vampire games suck.

I think they misunderstand how the game market works. I'm sure it would sell but it would sell in a very small scale way. It would do best on the Wii though. I'm not sure if wii-owners and Twilight fans cross over much but its possible. I still think it would bomb though. On top of that, we'd get a brand new running joke! There's a huge gap in the market for romantic games. The best I have seen so far is Dragon Age and that was just an option on the side. You can't be surprised that there are so few female gamers if all the games are about war and sports.

Just think of your favorite game. Imagine if every macho thing was replaced with something feminine, if ever chick showing off her rack was a topless guy. It would still have great gameplay and graphics, but the subject might put you off or be boring.

The world need pg-13 softcore for girls too. n_n
