I'm still confused as hell as to how you reboot something that is still ongoing. The franchise continues to have a new instalment every year with anywhere from token lip service to full on crossovers with previous series. How do you reboot that? And more importantly: why? That Ranger fanmade video where things where hyper-serious and dark? Yeah, that was a joke and a satire of the very idea, it wasn't supposed to be a call to action.

Oh dear god, why? They are trying way too hard. I always liked the simplistic designs of the ranger's costume. I get trying to make it look more like armor, but this is just too much.

Two things:

One: Why on earth would you take a children's show and make it more "mature" to appeal to older audiences who more likely than not no longer give a shit about Power Rangers? You aren't gaining new fans, you're trying to win old ones back.

Two: That he said "you can't win everyone over" right after expounding on the new look is just so sad. Like he knew everyone would hat it.

How did you manage to get past that red monstrosity in the front? I actually had to go back and look again and all I can say is, what happens if something tries to stab one of the ladies in the chest? I mean Power Ranger monsters use swords... Wouldn't that hurt? Also they all look ridiculous and the crappy TV costumes, somehow, look better.

It still looks bad, it just looks like it may not be the single worst thing that's coming out.

It'll still be the worst thing of this year though, the reboot Power Rangers is coming out next year.
