Haven't heard from them in ages. They were fun folks to be around but I guess they got bored and moved on from us... :/Troublesome Lagomorph said:I remember them all. Hey, what ever happened to Ren, Chinchilla, and Baby Eater/Toast?
Ren was studying a lot, The Chinch comes and goes as he feels and Toast is still around on Steam and some FGs at times.Redlin5 said:Haven't heard from them in ages. *Flies away*
Quite a shame. I really liked them.Redlin5 said:Haven't heard from them in ages. They were fun folks to be around but I guess they got bored and moved on from us... :/Troublesome Lagomorph said:I remember them all. Hey, what ever happened to Ren, Chinchilla, and Baby Eater/Toast?
I have to disagree. I think the banhammer is swung fairly. The times I come across a post that got a user banned I believe that the user was right in getting banned for it.PlatonicRapist said:This is a good thread. The ban-hammer is applied way too freely on this site. Who bans the banners ?
That's how it works around here. She knew better, and she got what she deserved.viking97 said:EDIT Just learned that she was banned because of many warnings, that makes more sense.
Ah yes, I remember him. Him getting banned was satisfying to say the least.Grenge Di Origin said:Lol, I personally thought he was a snobbish prick that called people "immature children". Was kinda pleased he got banned for a post that encapsulated everything I hated about him.Drathnoxis said:Sober Thal [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/profiles/view/Sober+Thal]

I can't say I'm too fond of being the subject of everyone's sexual desire![]()
He used his 1 year gone appeal after being gone almost 1 year and got to come back and then die again almost immediately after.RedDeadFred said:I'm confused, how could anyone here possibly support Zeel? And how the hell did he ever make it back? He made a post on another forum trying to recruit people to come and troll the Escapist after his first ban. Did he hack the website or was this a mod playing a joke. I don't want to read through 7 pages to try and find an answer since he's already been rightfully put down again.
So are you saying that reliable post count metrics are far more important to have than meaningful, valuable members of the community who ever so often make a post that doesn't live up to a completely unimportant standard of quality and content anyways?sky14kemea said:These forums are about discussion, so if that means we need to ask people not to spam images and post one word answers just to up their post count, then so be it.
What exactly is the difference between the two, besides "oh noes post count metrics"? Heck, at least a "^this" post points out that there is significant agreement so that the readers and posters can get a sense of perspective on the general consensus. Not posting at all accomplishes nothing, how can that be seen as better than a positive contribution, however minimal?sky14kemea said:It doesn't make you a bad person at all. It just means you need to think a little bit more before replying to certain topics. If people don't have anything to actually add to a topic, they have the option of not posting at all.
Had to quote you on this. Of the list, I distinctly remember those two, and how I celebrated their bans. Of particular memory was Boudica's staunch multi-page defense (and thread hijacking) of how Hitler was a great leader who just happened to be a leader at the wrong place and time and that's what set him up for failure. Mortai... I can't remember any specifics, but seeing that screen name makes me a little angry for some reason, lol.Devoneaux said:Meh, not to be a total stickler, but Mortai and Boudica got what they deserved, both of them were quite irritating on a lot of fronts. Boudica in particular in the way where she would completely ignore valid points in a given post in favor of cherry picking components that agree with her assertions was incredibly annoying.
