Okay, but I've gotten 3 warnings, and none were for being "rude".

Low content posts, mentioning the T word, revealing that you've pirated stuff before, these and more can land you a warning. Sometimes things that are said jokingly can get you into trouble too because the mods can't always tell you aren't being serious.

I'm guessing you're already aware of all this, but if not you should know, you do have to be pretty careful.

I'm not saying it's inevitable, but your odds certainly increase if you post more often. That's basically a statistical fact.


Completely avoiding violations is certainly possible, even with a high post count, but we all make mistakes, we're human beings.

Four pages, and a single mention of Gunsmith Kitten? She was just as vocal as Boudica, and twice as crazy. Besides, Boudica asked for a ban herself, didn't she?

What happened to Kitten anyhow? Last fall, as opinionated and angry as she was, she was still going pretty clean with one or two infractions to her name. I'm gone a couple of months, and when I come back she's banned for the aforementioned Japan post. Did she just go nuts with the warns over the winter, or was that one post over the top enough to drop the hammer on her?

Well the main ban that sucked as far as I was concerned was Matthew94, but I still chat to him on Steam anyway so it's been no big deal in the long run. :)

It's the natural flow of things - you either get banned before you grow tired, or live long enough to slowly get sick of the forums.

I hate to admit I know none of these people, though I did see Vault101's banning. Seemed like it didn't really justify a banning, even the OP said it didn't bother him (if I remember correctly) and that was who the post was directed at. It was a picture of a whining toddler.
Oh well, I don't post often anyway which is why I probably don't remember them, the only guys I really remember anymore are Daystar and Fappy. Though I do tend to see a few avatar images a lot that probably are the same person, I just never pay attention to their names.

OT: I'll miss one or two of the names on that list but I'd be lying if I said I didn't do a little double take to see some of them go. It's really not that hard to post without being a dickhead, besides, if Zeel is back then there's hope for all of them.

I have no problem with Boudicia getting banned. She seemed as unlikeable and misinformed as she was outspoken.
