Loved: melancholy of haruhi suzumiya, though the non-chronological line up makes me think ive missed some of the episodes
Hated: Chibi Vampire, i loved the manga, could not stand Karin's voice, english and japanese, couldnt get past the first 2 minutes

Question is the Chibi Vampire manga's worth getting into if I liked the anime? Cause I'm iffy on trying to buy them since I can't even find the first volume of the comic (Novel I can find). And about he Haruhi thing, I was reading the Novels to it and book two was referring to an event in book 3 which made me think I skipped a whole volume so I think that was carried over well in the anime haha.

Loved? Hands down, Gurren Lagann. In my mind, it is second only in "feel good factor" to FLCL, it wasn't too long and the way they did the second series was pretty cool too.

Hated? Gantz... Filler ending... Rage... (I enjoy the manga though, just having a filler ending right before the manga starts really getting good, and engineering the filler ending in such a way that the story could have returned to the manga in the event of the death of the final filler character REALLY pisses me off.)

Hated: This is tougher as I consider most of what I actually watch mediocre. I'm going to go with the second season of Darker than Black. Such a let down after the first season.

Hated? Gantz... Filler ending... Rage... (I enjoy the manga though, just having a filler ending right before the manga starts really getting good, and engineering the filler ending in such a way that the story could have returned to the manga in the event of the death of the final filler character REALLY pisses me off.)

I kinda found that fail ending still better than the continuation of the manga. It was such a pain to read. Everything up until that point (well, and a little bit further) was really good but it just went downhill for me afterwards.

The main character dies, new guys I absolutely don't care about appear, dinosaurs, vampires.. Not to forget the awful unending fight with that one guy who kept reassembling him/her/whateverself. There was just too much friggin nonsense and pointless fighting for me to handle.

That's correct. The manga is pretty good, the anime is one of the worst adaptations around.


Loved: Madoka Magica

Liked: Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka. Ika Musume

Meh: Panty and Stocking. Never has a show left me so indifferent.

Disliked: Some magical girlfriend series where the guy is a piece of shit. Not worth remembering the name. Only my loathing remains.

Hated: Tales of Earthsea. Don't fucking lie to me and tell me this is a) Ghibli, and b) LeGuin. It's neither. It's an abomination, only good for riffing. Willem Defoe is pretty good though.

my just discovered favourite anime is Clannad. given a choice between masterbation and clannad, I'd pick clannad.
I was very disapointed by Mariaholic. it could have been good, but the story didn't go anywhere. any decent plot point was either completely ignored or was solved at the begining of the next episode.

Probably the fans. It's not a TERRIBLE series (like Pilot Candidate), it's just too mediocre for all the fans it has. It is the Final Fantasy 7 of the Anime world.

Yeah, that's probably it. I went into Avatar expecting a kiddy show with good writing, and was blown away by the fullness of it's world. I went into Naruto hearing my friends pester me with, "It's so funny and witty and deep and big and long and good and funny and ninja". Put me off it.
