I don't really HATE anything, that applies to anime too. I really didn't Get Zero no Tsukaima, and I thought it was silly and quite cliché. Didn't watch more than a few episodes though, so maybe it picks up later. Don't really care if it does though...

The list of anime i've Loved is a lot longer; right now I'm full of CLANNAD, Bakemonogatari, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. But I've also loved Soul Eater, Rozen Maiden (was the first one I watched), School Rumble, To Aru Majutsu no Index (All seasons and spin-offs) and Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt.

When i'm done with CLANNAD After Story and Tengen Toppa, I'm gonna watch Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. It's ranked number 2 on the list of like all anime of all time on myanimelist.net so I'm looking forward to loving it. :)

Loved: Toradora. It is so far the only high school drama/slice of life anime I have ever been able to stand. And not only that, it's damn well fantastic. Authentic and engaging characters, a beautiful and well-paced story, and never dull or annoying.

Hated: Beelzebub. Seriously, my anime club couldn't even finish the first episode of this. It's just so freaky--high school wanna-be punk boy finds a baby with Pikachu-style electrical powers in the chest of a dying man he found floating down a river. So he has to raise this baby he's become attached to in the gang-run high school environment. Oh, and the baby hates diapers so 95% of the time the baby's on screen you can see his little baby privates bouncing around all over the place.

Last anime I loved - Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto (Takuto of the Radiance). Wow, Studio Bones just blow me away. They took what any other studio would have made into a standard kids anime a blew it out of the water with lush visuals, great story, smoothest mecha fights, amazing character design and development (except for one character who doesn't really get her love triangle tied up) and possibly two of the greatest openings ever. The thing that really shocked me is that it's a kid's anime but they did not just cash in on "We don't have to write good script". They made a really compelling story and some great voice actors in it. Mamoru Miyano (Light from Death Note, Death the Kid from Soul Eater) and Jun Fukuyama (In pretty much most things but Watanuki from xxxHOLiC, Lelouch from Code Geass, Grell in Kuroshitsuji) just steal the stage (pun intended if you know what their characters do). I'm in full support of a movie being developed because wow that ending is great but I so want to know the consequences of what happened. Also to tie up that damn triangle!

Also... （<ゝω・）☆ KIRABOSHI!

Last anime I despised - ...Blade... Oh I'm so sorry but they managed to make vampires boring WITHOUT being Twilight. Blade is everything that Twilight isn't but they still managed to bugger up the anime despite having some good source material to work with and make me bored stiff. And the fire is way too over the top. *Slash* *BURST INTO HUGE BALL OF FIRE* o_o

Love with a deep passion: Durarara! (DuLaLaLa for fun)

That woman down there, Celty Sturluson is what I consider the protagonist of the series for me. She's over 300 years old, got her head lopped off by some strange black knight thing, and works as a superhuman transporter in the city. The cast is filled with equally interesting and awesome characters (Bad a** Shizuo), great varied soundtrack, and intrigue and twists at every turn!

Hate!: School Rumble (dont completely hate, just lost interest)

Funny at first, but all I ask for is SOME kind of plot to see that the story is actually heading somewhere. I don't mean to bash this show for anyone who does like it, but it's just my taste is all :) Only anime that I can easily excuse for having no plot at all and just random sh** happening is...Azumanga Daioh (anime almost killed me of lack of oxygen)

the hate, i can already feel it.

so, last anime i liked isn't easy to answer, just because it's such a long time since i watched one. but would be the usual suspects, code geass i guess, i watched it a second time recently.

now, the ones i hated last: first one has to be bleach... it started soo awesomely and then totally lost track... even putting fillers and major plot stretches aside i just wanted to see the ending and since the aizen plot was nearly at it's climax, i kept on watching. yeah, i think everyone who watched the aizen arc till the end can understand, why i hated it sooo damn much.

and yeah, freaking elfenlied. it took really, really long for me to watch it, until i finally gave in and started, thinking that ''it can't be possibly as good as the fanboys make it sound''. by god, it wasn't. it just got me fed up everytime when it started to evoke the slightest feeling of interest she morphed into this ''nya nya'' shit again. i mean seriously, imagine death note, just with kira having this fetish, where he needs to wear a bikini twice an episode. Or Lelouch in Code Geass wearing a bucket on his head everytime he appears as zero.

Loved: Tokyo Godfathers. There's nothing about it that makes it necessary for it to be an animated movie, and they still animated it instead of just filming it. Reason enough to love it.

Hated: Luckily, none.

Last anime I loved: Puella Magi Madoka Magia - When I was through watching this one, it occurred to me that there are things and choices in this anime that are probably flaws: that certain things from being quite as effective as they should have been. And you know what? As time went on, and the show was still with me as much as when I had just finished watching the last episode, I realized I was in the interesting position of liking the show much more than I realized I had. Maybe I just needed time to process it, but man, Madoka Magica was incredible. Loved it. Can't wait for the DVDs.

Last anime I despised: (The first few episodes of) Lucky Star - I'm a pretty new anime fan. I'm still at the stage of cherry-picking all the best works over the last thirty or so years, so I haven't really seen a genuinely bad, so bad it's horrible show or movie yet. I could go with MD Geist or Garzey's Wing, both of which I've seen much more recently, but they're both awful in hilarious, fun to watch ways. The first few episodes of Lucky Star, then, are the most recent thing I've seen that didn't work for me on a level where I simply had no reason to continue watching. I know people say that it gets much better in the later episodes (after episode 4, I think is the consensus), but as it is, with the exception of one or two funny conversations out of the 90 or so minutes I watched of it, those first few episodes just didn't work. Don't kill me.

I have to admit I don't watch the "new" anime stuff.

It just seems a bit, toned down, for my liking.

I like the older stuff like Fist of the North Star, Guyver, Devil Man, Akira, Vampire Hunter D, Blood and Ghost in the Shell (the original NOT the stand alone complex).
You might want to check out a current series named Tiger and Bunny. It's pretty cool, not fantastic, but it has this going for it: it's way the hell not moe, it's got a cool and consistent style to it, and it's reasonably intelligent for what it is. Madoka Magica too, even though it's not as manry as any of the series you've listed.

Liked: Spice and Wolf. I enjoy the whole "Less focus on action, more focus on finances" view of the show. It's very relaxed, but still interesting. There was some fanservice, but it was minimal.

Disliked: A tough one. I can usually find merit in things I dislike. I didn't really like Panty and Stocking, but I praise it for it's interesting animation style. I just didn't dig the humor all that much.

However, I have no words for how much I loathe Eiken.

The last one that I've loved was Death Note.

I don't have any that I hate because the only ones I've watched are Wolf's Rain and Death Note. Both of them were good, but I was much more into Death Note.

I love the premise and the plot and all that but i'm just so damn disappointed by the horrible jerky animation that seems to be prevalent in japanese cartoons.

Loved: Evangelion 2.22, Baccano!, and my current series, Durarara!!
Hated: The Sky Crawlers, Kekkaishi

The Sky Crawlers was incredibly pretentious and just boring, I couldn't even get into the dogfights. As for Kekkaishi, that had to be the most generic and dull Shonen series I ever watched, and I saw nearly every episode. I'll admit it gets pretty good near the end, but then it just ends (I know the manga keeps going, but the series is crap for the most part). I loved the gay dog though.
