The Bank Job about an hour ago.

British humour, British humour, BANG the movie takes the most absolutely mind crippling turn. I didn't see it at all, not even in the way "I guess that could happen" no this movie was like a brick to the face.

Serious, but excellent movie.

Stardust was pretty surprising. It was a great movie.

OMG everyone rent it nowz~!
Yeah I totally agree, A friend brought it over and told me it was brilliant. I didn't believe but then ended up laughing my ass of and loving it. Needless to say I went out the next day and brought it myself.

I was very surprised by Doomsday...the apocalyptic story that was successfully able to combine everything from Medieval duels to car chases AND HAVE EVERYTHING MAKE SENSE. This movie is very underrated-
I agree, even though it managed to rip off many great 80s films.

I would have to say Crank, was just a random choice at the cinema and a good choice it was.

i hate to say it but Moulin Rouge was last film i was suprised at. My girlfriend made me watch it and i was dreading it. but it actually turned out pretty good. Although she did have to act like a walk through and explain what the hell was going on the whole way through.

Besides the obvious mention of The Dark Knight, the last movie that really caught me off guard was Children of Men. It was just so dark and depressing, and somehow I was never able to look away from the screen.
