I've been addicted to Killzone 2 pretty much since it came out, I will put it aside to play other games that come out, but as soon as I start playing that game again it is so hard to stop. Also was playing Demon's Souls nonstop when it came out, that game is so very good. I know I will be very much addicted to L4D2 as soon as I get it in the next week or two.
Hm... probably Rune Factory on the DS. I could take it wherever I wanted to, and I wanted to get 99 skill on everything. Prior to this was Morrowind and then Runescape from god only knows how long ago. After Rune Factory though, I'm definitely watching myself for addiction.
The last game I was ADDICTED to, as in, didn't make me put down the controller when I got mad or made me want to quit after the first 10 minutes and then come back to it a month later was Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life. Sure, it was hella repetitive, but I think that's what sucked me in, along with the fact I could be a total prick to some people and then completely win over others.
... I named all my animals after Resident Evil and Tekken characters. :3 I even named my son Jack after the immortal Jack Krauser. My character's name was Chris- named after Chris Redfield.

I bought that one in March of 2002, after I got out of basic training, and played it until May. That's still my all-time record.sasquatch99 said:
well.... i actually came to like Dragon Age.....sure, it's boring and repetitive and even the dirty bits look like an extract from a 'birds and bees catholic version' educational sketch....kind of reminded me of Oblivion minus the unnecessary nudity....but i guess that didn't stop me from wasting a week of my life :|
TF2, even if my computer could only just run it even at its lowest settings (including setting the graphics to DX8). It's just so AWESOME.

Nothing's drawn me quite like Lost Odyssey, with five full playthroughs. FFX comes second. I've played it too many times to count, but not always to the end.
