The last game I was ADDICTED to, as in, didn't make me put down the controller when I got mad or made me want to quit after the first 10 minutes and then come back to it a month later was Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life. Sure, it was hella repetitive, but I think that's what sucked me in, along with the fact I could be a total prick to some people and then completely win over others.

... I named all my animals after Resident Evil and Tekken characters. :3 I even named my son Jack after the immortal Jack Krauser. My character's name was Chris- named after Chris Redfield.

I think I have issues.
Didn't care for HM:aWL but Friends of Mineral Town stole a lot of my life in the various incarnations it went through :D

The problem was I had so many pinatas. I couldn't be bothered to restart the 40 hours of playing time, I was so close to getting the 50 hour play time achievement to. ;__;

Edit-

I did not like how AWL focused on the social aspect to much and left the farming to die, or vice versa with STHL (Even tough I liked that one better the AWL). I did like FoMT the best though, I did EVERY thing in it. :D

Ah, 40 hours is impressive. But just remember, if you ever do want to start again, there is that Gretchen Fetchem lady who will go get pinatas for you ;) And with a blank garden, it is very easy to make money fast. Just clear off some dirt, plant some orchids, sprinkle them with fertilizer and sell all but the seeds at the end. Then rinse and repeat.

Thats what put me off as well, i liked the opened endedness of FoMT and its variations thats probably what sucked up my time. I managed to do pretty much everything within 1 game year that was fun. I was not going to do the 50year thing just so i can get a house on a hill ¬¬

Well, a while ago it was Rhythm Heaven, then the World Ends With You and now it's American McGee's Alice.

Way of the Samurai 3. There are so many different outcomes in that game you just have to see them all.

Before that it was Halo 3, Fallout 3, The Settlers: Fourth Edition, and Pokemon Leaf Green.

I have over seven-hundred video games, so every once in a while I'll pick one up and keep playing it for a long-ass time.
