I haven't walked out of a movie before, but I considered it for LoTR 2 and Never Back Down.

LoTR 2: I've always found the whole 'epic' fantasy genre to be pretty boring, and when I went to the movies to see The Two Towers I was bored out of my mind

Never Back Down: Again, boring fighting genre for me. I have decided to NOT get forced to go to a movie by my firends ever again (Note: there were about 20 of us, we were gonna see something else, but then one ***** I really don't like decided 'Oh, lets see this one instead'. She and her boyfriend were the only on'es who enjoyed it, the rest of us hated it)

The remake of The Day The Earth Stood Still. I won't even get into the stupidity of the global warming thing. The biggest was this scientifically advanced civilization hating us for destroying a precious resource, the planet Earth.

So instead of just giving us technology that would not contribute to "global warming", they decide to kill everybody until they see "love" or the possibilities of what humans can do.

Seriously?

Oh, and the Punisher that starred John Travolta. He is the worst villain I have ever seen.

The hills have eyes (2?)

i had been getting quite drunk after school (school tradition where i went), and went home to get rid of the nausea.
Then 2 hours after i felt suprisingly well, so i went to this movie and beer night, which a friends girlfriend hosted, as i had been told that one of her friends had asked them to invite me though i barely knew her. (afterwards i learned that she just remembered my name, and wanted more ppl to come, but i had the impression that she had the hots for me)

At one point we we're watching the hills have eyes or it's sequel, and everyone left to go to the gas station to get more beer, so there i was, in the room of someone i didn't really know, iwth the lames movie ever playing, and a girl i hardly knew lying next to me. while we didn't actually walk out on the movie we started making out quite out of the blue.
We've been together for over 2 years now :D

so while it was a crappy movie, i will use it as an example of why bad movies has to be there, don't know whether we would've made out if we we're busy watching something good instead :p

10,000 BC was the first movie that I've ever walked out of in a theater ... it was hands down the worst movie I've ever seen(partially).

The golden compass.

Found it on sky last night and its so confusing for a kids film! its a film made just to make money. even the actors in the film dont care (i.e. christopher lee, daniel craig, nicole kidman). they only did this film to get a bit of money in the pockets.

bad film, dont watch.

I couldn't walk out because that means ditching my girlfriend (because of her slutty friends insisting her to stay) but this...THIS movie was HORRIBLE.
Twilight, nuff said.
Luckily I brought my Ipod and watched a real movie through it, The dark knight.

I couldn't sit through The Messengers, that movie sucked so hard, and at the end, I literally got up and yelled at the movie, it was that bad.

Also couldn't watch Death Proof, that has got to be the goriest chick flick in the world. I excpected a Tarantino movie to be waaaaay better.

Slumdog Millionaire, so damn annoying oscarbait. Ill probly finish it someday because its not so bad but I still have grudge towards it after Frost/Nixon lost.

I don't think I've ever walked out of the cinema, but I know I've given up watching a dvd. Most recently, Battlefield Earth, although I'll admit I went back to it once I'd had a bit more alcohol. Also, Tokyo Story, which made me feel terribly guilty. It's the kind of film, so highly praised and so artsy-fartsy (it's a word), that I, as a arts student, felt terrible for not being able to see it through. I might try it again sometime.

ShortBus! That film actually almost made me throw up. I didn't realise that it was such an explicit film, not the good kind either. I'm not going to say much more, all I am going to say though is; watch it and see what I mean!

I'm with Ace Jackson on this one. I've never seen a movie I wanted to fork my own eyes out after having seen before this, but Mel's work in The Passion Of The Christ did it for me!

what's a movie you had to turn off because it was so bad or just didn't pull you in?
Recently, two days ago. Be Kind Rewind. Like 20 minutes in, I think the story was just getting going when I realised, "actually everyone who said this is crap is probably right, i'm kinda bored and irritated." OFF. Watched Sarah Connor Chronicles

So you didn't get to see "the Wolves". Look out the CGI is coming - Run!
