The Invention of Lying. Pretty funny movie about a world where no one has ever lied before, so there is no religion or anything, then suddenly a guy figures out he can lie.

The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.

I give it 8/10. Highly re-watchable, however the southern american accent really grates at times. The cars are pretty fucking awesome. I usually only like muscle cars of the metal variety (classic, not plastic ^_~) but the Japanese ones are pieces of art in their own right.

I appreciate the Mustang but you just know it had to be remodeled with fibre glass just to be able to move half as well as the Japanese cars, so that loses some points there in just knowing that fact.

I just got Funny People from Netflix and it was terrible. It was definitely an overly long movie. I would have been a lot more accepting of it if it hadn't lasted 2.5 hours. Plus, with the halfway plot switch, I looked to the person I was watching it with and said, "I think they started the sequel in the middle of the movie. And it didn't need a sequel." The tone was just too schizophrenic. It didn't know if it wanted to be a black comedy or a raunchy comedy or a dramedy. The result was something that wasn't funny, wasn't dramatic, but was boring.

Fuking romantic comedys.
FUCKING HUGH GRANT.
Fuck that movie. seriously. Me and my best friend got dragged along to it by another friend.
We wanted to go see a serious man, but she didn't like, so we let her choose. We had to, considering we dragged her along to the new Terry Gilliam move, which she hated.
Romantic comdeys arn't all bad.. well most are..
But still, that movie had NO story line, everything was sooo predictable, which made it so painfull to watch.
DONT MAKE ME REMEMBER!!!!!!!!!!
That night I watched Cannibal Holocaust to wash away this horror....with more horrror.
(if you haven't seen it, it's on google vids. great movie, and definately disgusting)

The Fox and the Hound. A very cute, unconventional movie (for Disney) that does have some drawbacks preventing it from being among classics. Regardless it is underrated and has a maturity to it adults can pick up on without alienating the kids. 7/10.

Well I had a bit of a movie marathon over the weekend, watching The Deer Hunter, The Third Man, Casablanca and Trois Couleurs Bleu and Blanc (this probably means that you can tell what the next film I'm going to watch is).

Just finished watching Halo Legends, not bad.

'Odd One Out' was slightly bizarre, the one staring the female spartan and her past was well done, and The Duel was just awesome.

Shutter Island. I liked it all right. It wasn't phenomenal, but it wasn't anywhere near disappointing, either.
