Last movie I watched at home was Lucky Number Slevin, fucking amazing movie that I can watch over and over and never get bored of.
Great movie but I hated the end twist.
I thought Slevin was better as a lovable, sarcastic loser than as a hitman's gifted apprentice.
Still a very funny movie though. Morgan Freeman and Sir Ben Kingsley are priceless!

2/5 - The Rescuers Down Under - I loved this movie as a kid. I hate it now. I weep for my lost childhood.
Personally, I still love that movie. Glad I'm not you.
I'm realizing with every childhood favourite that I am no longer my younger self. That he and I are two very different people. Be thankful that you still enjoy the movies of your past. Sorry if I sound like a PSA or someone's grampa or something.

Youth in Revolt... Saw it on monday, and surprisingly I haven't seen any films since...

I was high when I saw it so I probably wouldn't give it an apt review... Micheal Cera was much better than usual, and the script was much better than your usual Micheal Cera movie... But maybe thats just the drugs talking...

The Hurt Locker. Finally, a decent Iraq War film, this one dealing with the already tense subject of disarming bombs for a living. Real good tension, good subjects, alright plot, I'd give it an easy 9.3/10 on the tension alone.

Rented Surrogates a few days ago... It was alright, but sitting there watching it, a single niggling question kept popping into my head: How the devil can everyone afford these things?

Simple. This thread is here to discuss the last movie you watched (in the cinemas, on DVD, on TV, internet etc). Feel free to give a quick (or in depth) review, brief consensus or what not- it is your choice. I do not think I can make things here clearer thus, I start.

Today, I have watched;
Cape Fear, the original with Gregory Peck. Wonderful film with a noticeably Hitchcockian feel to it. Despite approaching 50 years old, it is still effective and chilling along with not feeling dated. 10/10

Don't Look Now. Very good, bizarre film directed by Nicholas Roeg. It is hard to discuss without spoiling it and without sounding to vague about it. Horror how I like it, in the mind. There are few scenes that have had me react to them as I did and last after the movie. 8.5/10
The Road

I really enjoyed this movie, it gave a great look at the "end of the world" in a very un-hollywood manner. We see all of those over hyped views of heros and villians, quirky characters and epic gangs, but this movie shows more what it probably would really be like.
The story line and pace of the movie fits and mirrors the characters perfectly and I enjoyed the movie a fair bit :)

Braveheart, it was pretty good - but a little long and drawn out for me. 8/10

Fuking romantic comedys.
FUCKING HUGH GRANT.
Fuck that movie. seriously. Me and my best friend got dragged along to it by another friend.
We wanted to go see a serious man, but she didn't like, so we let her choose. We had to, considering we dragged her along to the new Terry Gilliam move, which she hated.

I enjoyed the twist at the end, but I get what you mean. He was easier to like the, but I feel that's what makes the twist better. And I'm happy to say that at 20 I still enjoy watching my old Disney movies.

Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths

It was pretty good. I need to find some source material for it though as I love the premise. There was also a sneak peak of the next animated original movie by DC;

Batman: Under the Red Hood

It's looks like it'll be great xD

My next movie is going to be Dark Knight

Let's see today I saw Edward Scissorhands, okay but I'm not huge into tim burton. Yesterday I saw Crazy Heart in theaters, pretty good at first it feels a lot like the wrestler only with a country music star instead of a wrestler but really comes into it's own. And the day before that One flew over the Cucco's nest, Really really good, a must watch, will go down as one of my favorites. I've been watching a lot of movies.

Edit: forgot "cold souls" I had to watch it given my man-crush on Paul Giamatti.
