So I thought of a scenario in which I'd be gone for a while.
But there is very little which will keep me from this site.
And if you want senility, just hang out in the games for a while. I'll get back to them.

I specifically meant the "then coming back" part. It implies that you would leave when you weren't forced to by your death.

I wasn't expecting you to derail instantly, I just didn't get why you would leave if you weren't hindered. Assuming you were kidnapped or something along those lines, I doubt you would have such a "Ha, in your faces, I'm not dead" approach to things.

Exactly.
After all, if you're just dodging the same old things every morning, life gets old.
When the people out to get you are doing their job well and trying new things, well, then you get a feeling of accomplishment after getting your paper.

A discussion isn't much without different opinions, is it? What is the problem with caring about other people's opinions? And what is the problem with my thread, exactly? I don't make any threads, and when I do, they usually encourage good discussion or something neat to talk about, and they usually fall off the first page because they don't encourage flaming or people would rather talk about what their favorite pet is. Here I have a thread that is actually doing alright for once, and you're gonna come in here and knock it?

Hey man, I didn't ask you to click it. If you think it is low content, report it, just like I do with low content threads, because that is what the community needs to do. But please don't come in here bashing the whole Escapist, it just makes you look like you don't even want to be a part of it.
