Latest game you purchased and why?

Duke Nukem Forever.
why? because its duke. no, seriously i've played like the first four levels of Duke3D on xbox live arcade and the multiplayer from Time to Kill. but unlike the rest of the world i found it to be fun, though i agree the load times were too long.

Defcon because I've been thinking about getting Frozen Synapse which is made by the same people and it was only 3 pounds in the sale.Plus who doesn't enjoy a good bit of global thermonuclear war.

Because it looked neat and I had money. The neat thing was I traded in some games that I didn't want anymore and not only did it cover the cost of the game, there was some left to put towards buying Saints Row 3 when it comes out. Score!

Just picked this up too and I'm not so good at it either. Still a lot of fun though.

I bought Final Fantasy XIII for the 360.

Why? The only FF game I got is Chystal Chonicals: Echoes of Time and someone at school said it isn't the real FF. As I see that XIII has a lot of bad rep, the only thing I don't like so far(only got to Chapter 3 event 1) is that whiney boy whoose mom died.

While I'm at, what is linear about it?

$5 during the Steam sale, I have played 10 hours of it and still haven't seen about 50% of Panau so I think it was worth the $5

I bought Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness: Episodes one and two on Steam because I never got around to playing them, and they were on sale or something. In terms of a physical game, I bought Brink, which was disappointing (to say the least, and hold back my true thoughts on that game).

I bought Saints Row 2 (for a third time, I'm not freakin' giving it away this time!) and Spiderman: Web of Shadows just a couple of days ago.

I got these for free, using the store credit I got by trading in Duke Nukem Forever. Talk about two birds with one stone, huh? Huh?
