Hmmm....I'm NG, myself, but in this case I'd probablygo with the LN dimension.

EDIT: On second thought, I'd go to the CN dimension, but end up establishing some sort of order to lessen evils.

Chaos. I have a strong belief in survival of the fittest, and I generally hate people.

So we're looking at LE vs GC

what a silly question.

If it was LG vs CG then I would have a tougher time deciding.
More like LN to CN, considering you only know about the chaotic nature of the dementions, not the general attitude of the inhabitants.

Fair call about CN, I assumed this world was CG for some reason.

LE however, is completly justified as the OP said

The other is a fascist dictatorship. The law is held up high and all those who don't comply are never seen again
That seems pretty LE to me.

I'd have to go with the chaotic one. I'd rather not die for accidentally breaking a law. :<

Chaos. I love the idea of destruction and uncertainty. Peace and law is just to same same after god knows how many times you get told that "Fighting is wrong" and "Stay in school" following rules is good and all.

But wheres the rules when somebody ticks you off enough to hit them in the face with a wheelchair.
Nice thinking.

With a poll people answer poll then dont post. This way people post.

So the choice is chaos in which anything goes (obviously including murder and the fact society would crumble)... or a dictatorship where somehow everyone is happy and content and society would flourish into a parfect utopia? hmm... tough option there.
Two things, you dont know if there was ever a society. Just a bunch of tribes fighting for dominance. Also you do not know weither or not the people in the law demention are happy or not.

I might revise that but the idea was that lawbreakers are put in jail for a long time. You know im going to edit that.

Chaos! Blood for the Blood God! Oh wait, sorry, I got carried away.^^

So, let's see, I have a choice between a total authoritarian oppresionist regime, and an almost outright anarchy. My choice is Law (but, truthfully I'd pick neither^^). Here is why. Although gnaws at my liberal heart; I prefer a sense of stability. As long as the law is just I would have no problem upholding it. But with a such regime comes the question what would fall under the category of just? Well, if just is considered something that affects you in the best possible manner, then it's not just. Just is something that effects everyone equally. I get the fellin' that the dictator has a bit more just treatment than the rest of us common peasants living there. Sice the OP says that life is good under the law, than who am I to argue?

At the beginning of the post I wrote that I'd preffer it because of stability, that little thing that prevents riots on the streets and keeps your pockets filled, but in truth niether of these regimes are stable. The guy you bumped into in the bar could shoot you for it, and the dictator could outlaw sex toys if his wife forbids him to use one in bed. But, all in all, if my pockets are filled by a regular income, my (imagined) family has enough to eat, and everyone is happy, then, yes, I'd be happy there too, even though my freedom is outlawed together with sex toys. Now I don't want people to think that I would sell my soul for a regular income, it's just that we're talking 'bout two extremes here, neither of wich I would prefer to live in, but since I had to make a choice; than here it is. I feel most secure in the dictatorship. But, honestly, when I get there, I'd do something to expand our freedom, the hopless liberal that I am. Dictatorship isn't a bad thing if your dictator is just.

What are the laws of said dictatorship? If it's just harsh enforcement against theft and murder I'll be fine, but if they censor things and keep a very oppressive social order/hierarchy (which they probably do), then I'll take the anarchist dimension, thank you.
You dont know before entering. You take a chance based on what you think would be better due to the alignment that you know.

Law. I estimate the highest chance of survival for someone like me.

And potentially die in the process keep in mind. Everybody has free will to do anything.

I have a real issue with authority so i'd choose the chaos. After all a world in chaos is easily shaped.

Chaos. I will live peacefull harming no one, but if some asswipe burns my house down, I won't have to worry about the cops beating down my door when I catch him & turn his skin into a costume.

I'd choose Chaos. Order is all well and good, but I don't want to have to learn all of the laws.

And now for my weekly thread!

You are sent to one of two dimensions. One is completely carefree and chaotic, leaders change often, money is questionable at all times, you are on your own entirely. The other is a fascist dictatorship. The law is held up high and to the letter. Life with the law is pleasant and good as long as it is followed. Which do you choose? You may not come back or go to the other dimension once you have arrived.

[sub]You do not know the laws of the lawful world, only that they are held to the letter and are punished severely[/sub]
Ok my bad situation aside what are you closer to? Chaos or law. Which do you like more?

Also do not say "Both" chose one the other, this is more of where are you more leaning towards. If you simply cannot then don't post, simple as that.

[sub]Hot damn 1400 posts, didnt mean for that to happen.[/sub]
are you anticipating the Brink game or what?

Enforcement or Resistance...
or

As Havik would say:

Of course i'd join the one that has more edge, and i'd bring balance back to the other one so that every time, one or the other gets it hard!

but seriously, Chaos makes perfect!
