This is a continuation from This Role Play [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/362.205524-The-league-of-extraordinary-sidekicks-Closed-Started] People from their get first preference, but I will allow many many people. You don't need to read that one, I will re-write all of the important parts here anyway.
[HEADING=1]League Of Sidekicks 2![/HEADING]
What is this game about?
The world is large in scope. Anything you can imagine, is probably here somewhere. One of the things that you can imagine, is superpowers. Due to many experiments, scientists have found a new human Genome, that has lay dormant since the dawn of time, known as the "Power X" Chromosome. This mutation gives super abilities to people, which have been either abused, used for good, or ignored.
4 Years ago, a Serum was finally finished being created, there were too parts too it. One, gave powers to people, known as Substance P, but this drug also destroyed the mind. The slightly safer one, was Substance F, which did the exact opposite. Substance F takes powers away, and for the last 2 years, has been used by the Police and some Hero's to take down super villains, by either injecting it straight into them, eliminating the Power X all together, or just coating bullets and other weapons in it, temporarily stopping powers.
The use of the Serum has divided people. Some, for its use, seeing the advantages of being used against the Super powered freaks, stopping them from rampages. But many are also against it, seeing the downsides, like their powers being stripped away, or it being made mandatory. You join one of these groups, being either For, or against the Serum, its your choice.
Where will This Extravaganza be taking place?
The Role Play will be situated on an island, a fictional island to make it easier... Lets call it...Australia Omninesia. Yes, I know, names are not my strong point.
This Island has a very wide range of environments, from a small desert to a few snowy mountains. The environment has sways with the win, it can get the hot air from the desert, temperate air from either the surrounding jungle or beach, or snow from the mountains. The island has a few cities spread around, some even little villages containing only a few huts, but the capital city is where most of this game will take place.
The Capital City (Named Eurasia), is the largest city on the island. It has some skyscrapers, a few large houses and mansions, and many smaller houses, much like a regular town.
Sounds Interesting... How does one Apply?
Well, first off, you need to design a character. Using a handy dandy template that I have provided for you.
<spoiler=Handy Dandy Sheets>Name: ((Actual name))
Alias: ((Super hero Name))
Age: ((Preferably over 18))
Appearance: ((A decent Paragraph if you can. Plus a picture if possible. Even if there is a picture, you still need a decent paragraph showing your detailing skills))
Personality: ((How you confront people, talk to people. Your demeanour in battle and around places. Likes and Dislikes.))
Powers: ((Most likely to change. Just what powers you have, and weapons. Strength and abilities fit into here too.))
Bio: ((Your life until now. This should be easily the longest Section. I may ask you to expand on it))
Alignment: ((Where you are Good or Bad, can be like "Lawful Good" or "Chaotic Evil" and things like that. And Whether you support the Serum or Not.))
Other: ((Anything not covered in any other point... Usually very important.))
Then, you post it in this thread, or send me a PM about it. Either way, I get the sheet. Make sure it is in a spoiler tag =)
And then you wait until I either ask you to change things, or expand upon things, or your accepted straight off of the bat.

[HEADING=3]~Against the Serum Side~[/HEADING]
[sub]This team posts in Dark Red font.[/sub]
<spoiler=senorcromas: Randall Post>Name: Randall Post
Alias: Cirque
Age: 26
Appearance: A tall man, easily 6 foot. He has the body of an acrobat, due to years of training in the circus. He has Piercing dark blue eyes and medium length, straight black hair. When on "business", he wears a black shirt tucked into his black combat pants. He also wears a simple white mask, the only designs being a thin red mouth and a purple lightning bolt over its right eye socket. http://www.absoluteanime.com/darker_than_black/hei.jpg(minus the trenchcoat)
Personality: Randall, on the surface, appears to be an overly positive and happy soul. However, beneath that temperament lies a condescending, sadistic, heartless assasin, who'd kill his own best friend for the right price.
Powers: Randall's powers are to weaponise the subconscious, in a way. When face with a situation, three bubbles will pop up around him, each with just a single word written on them. These are all possible solutions his subconscious already thought of. Randall then picks one, and crushes the bubble, causing something to pop out, usually a weapon of some sort. Whatever he chooses stays out for exactly 25 minutes, then disappears. After this point, Randall must still wait 5 minutes before he can use the ability again. The effects of the tools are not always immediately obvious. For example, he could get a horn that shoots concussive blasts, or a circus ball that, when popped, blows the adversary away. All these are imagined by his subconsious, so usually the choices are all circus-themed. In addition to that, He has worked as a circus performer for years, and as such has amazing dexterity.
Bio: Randall was born to Scott and Mary Post, circus performers. As such he grew up moving around a lot. When he was old enough, he started to learn the tools of the trade. He was a natural. He favored juggling over everything, spending countless hours tossing his precious clubs up and sending them on their path. He eventually became a star, walking the tightrope and doing acrobatics. One day, however, everything changed.
He was walking the tightrope, same as usual, until a kid from the crowd somehow hit him with an ice cream cone. It was then that the "thought bubbles", as he would come to call them, appeared. Randall was flailing his arms rapidly, and accidentally smashed one labled "survive". from the bubble came a huge pole which Randall quickly grabbed and safely rode down on. The crowd, the performers, and Randall were all quite surprised. The circus owner, ever the opportunist, decided putting Randall in life threatening conditions on a near daily basis was now considered good business. Randall was 17. A year later, he mysteriously vanished from the circus.
Believe it or not, It is quite difficult to get a job when you have zero schooling whatsoever. He ended up on the streets, performing street shows with the skills he learned. This allowed him to eat, at least for a while. Before long, though, he was back with another circus. This circus owner was more harsh than the one he had grown up with, and Randall was rather moody, being made to work 70 hour weeks fighting lions and performing life threatening stunts. One night, after he was forced to brutally murder an elephant in front of thousands of onlookers, Randall snuck into the owners camper and stabbed his face off. Randall became the new leader, much to the relief of the other circus performers. On the side, he took assassination requests, deciding they were a good way to bring in money.
Other: Is quite the Mahjong fan.
Alignment: Chaotic neutral
Stance on the substance: Against.

[HEADING=2]Accepted Characters[/HEADING]
[HEADING=3]~Against the Serum Side~[/HEADING]
[sub]This team posts in Dark Red font.[/sub]
Name: Curtis Cole
Alias: Dark Claw
Age: 28
Appearance: He wears a large emerald ring, and carries an enormous great-sword which can cut through nearly anything. His blade is made of an unbreakable material, and is jet black and crystal-like in appearance.
Personality: Unlike his younger brother Jason, Curtis is prone to get angry over the smallest things. In his rage he may even lash out at his allies, but will come to before he does serious damage. He tends to stay away from other people with powers, not helping to fight evil with the heroes, but not bothering to stop villains from destroying the town.
Powers: Curtis is able to take on the form of an enormous gray dragon, or he is able to take on the smaller details such as arms and claws, wings, eyes, ears, nose, etc. When he is a gray dragon, it is twice the size of his brother's dragon form, and Dark Claw may stay in this form twice as long.
Bio: Born back in the medieval ages, Curtis was the chosen knight... lucky enough to join the soul of a dragon. It was even better when he gained the powers that he now has, winning conflict after conflict against their black armored enemies. In one particular conflict to the north, Curtis fell from a cliff into the ocean, after being grievously injured. His body was quickly saved by his dragon soul, his body becoming encased in a diamond like material, his body not completely finished transforming, but close enough that his body would not age or decay, even if the ice he was in melted. He floated around the world for hundreds of years, nobody ever discovering him because he was beneath the surface of the water.
Finally, he washed ashore in the town that Jason lived in, researchers taking him and chaining him up in the asylum.
He was given medical treatment to heal his wounds, and he tried to escape, the only thing holding him back being the electrical current, pulsing through his body every time he struggled against his chains. Finally after a few months, Jason visited Curtis, destroying the electrical current's and allowing him to go free. Curtis, in return, gave him a special ring used to enhance the Dragon's power, allowing them to stay in their dragon forms longer, and use their powers to a better degree.
After breaking free from the asylum, Curtis finds Jason near death near a now destroyed mall. He flew Jason to the island of Greenland, giving him over to the other Dragon Soul doctors.
Jason is now in a stable condition, having woken up from a coma, but he is still in no shape to fight. Curtis left his younger brother, to find Jason's former allies, after much begging from Jason. Curtis is now in a town were he believes Paragon to reside with some of the other former team members.

Stance on Substance: Doesn't like it
Name: Stanley Harcroft, a.k.a Stanley Tesla
Alias: The Maw, formally Dark Stanley
Age: 23
Apperance: Short pointy French mustache, short curly black hair that he occasionally wears a beret over, Tallish, also has a Maw in each of his palms. His skin is still a bit paleish from his time as Dark Stanley.
Normal: Black turtle neck with dark blue scarf and jeans, occasionally beret, fingerless gloves to cover palms. He tries to conceal his palms, not wanting to creep anyone out that much. He has a large scar on his jaw from where Garret stabbed him, but it doesn?t truly disadvantage him in any way.
Hero:
He wears an odd combat suit that he was able to aquire from one of the people who wanted revenge from him. It keeps all of his body concealed except for his eyes which can be zipped up. Stanley never talks from his mouth when he is in it, preferring to speak from the Maw in his right hand, and letting The Maw speak from his left hand, always moving his hand to where his mouth would be when he speaks to create a creepy effect.
Power: The Maws: The maws are due to the creature that lives inside Stanley, they are located on his palms and are either opened or closed. They can shoot out the length of his arms as fast as a cobra and can bite through anything. Anything eaten is taken into a pocket dimension where they are absolutely destroyed forever and eternity. Any human flesh eaten by the maw can very slowly heal his injuries, and if he devours the body of a person younger than him he can de-age himself.
Fighting skills: Stanley knows American Tong So Do, a self defense based martial art style
The great Maw: If given enough time, Stanley can cause what is basically the Sarlacc to appear anywhere in close proximity. (he mostly centers it on himself) Usually he can only summon it to take out a small fifteen foot area around him, but if given enough time he can make a big enough one to level a building.
Personality: Stanley has changed much from his past life as Dark Stanley. He is now very protective of people, and seeks to do right for what he did in the past. He is a bit sad sometimes because he can never truly escape from his past, people that he wronged still hunt him, if he sees someone who has decided to seek revenge against him, he?ll try to reason with them before reverting to a Dark Stanley like state to hunt them.
History:
Pre-arc: Stanley was originally just a normal college student, unfortunately he failed his classes and was forced to work as a cafeteria worker at an elementary school. The children mocked him because of his failings and Stanley became more and more hateful. Then one day he picked up a butcher?s knife and sought revenge, devouring the bodies of the children before he was captured.
1 arc: Dark Stanley was in prison until a mad scientist named Dr. Avian Von Doom freed him. Dr. Avian then blew up the downtown area and left. Dark Stanley made this place his hunting ground until he went to Japan for a short while to feast on more flesh. When he returned Dark Stanley eventually learned that he was possessed by an otherworldly creature known as The Maw. The Maw?s form was later destroyed and it was forced to take refuge in Stanley?s body as his servant.
Post-arc: Stanley went with Roxane Smith to go finish college earning his degree in small business management, studying mush harder this time. He later followed her into the city, instead of partying opening a success-full book re-seller/ book store. He now seeks to repent for his past crimes. Unfortunately many of the relatives and friends who were killed by Dark Stanley now seek revenge and hunt him, many of them seek to use the substance to take away his powers, and his only chance at repentance using his eternal life granted to him by The Maw. No matter how many people he must kill, he must not lose his chance at repentance.
Stance on the Substance: No, he must have his powers to seek his own repentance.
Alignment: Wants to be a hero, so good. But will do anything to continue his path on the road to repentance, so can sometimes do evil things, A ok with killing though.

Name: Sam Turner
Alias: None
Age: 20
Appearance:
This [http://media.photobucket.com/image/anime%20red%20hair%20boy/JoySakura/Red%20Guy/1211144248_1494_full.png]
(Without the tie)
Sam has medium length red hair, which hangs down untidily in front of his face, and red eyes, almost certainly a side effect of his mutation, as his parents are both blonde with blue eyes. He wears a short sleeved white shirt, along with a pair of dark blue jeans and red low top converse.
Personality: Sam is quite laid back and tries to get on with others. However, he can be headstrong, determined to do something a certain way if he thinks it's the right thing to do.
Powers: Pyrokinesis. Sam has the ability to generate, control and manipulate fire and heat. He can produce fire from his hands, and can force it to act in any way he wants. He can also change the temperature of his body. For example, he can heat his hands to be hot enough to melt through metal. He is not invulnerable to fire, and can be harmed by it the same as anyone, unless he is actively controlling it, in which case he has learned to stop it from injuring him.
Bio: Sam was an oddity to his parents from the day he was born. His body temperature at birth was through the roof, enough to kill a normal baby. However, after a few days, he normalised and his parents were allowed to take him home, a perfectly normal baby, apart from his red eyes, which no one could offer an explanation for.
Growing up, he seemed to be pretty average, showing almost no signs of being different at all, apart from a few incidents, such as his hand melting through door handles and inexplicable burn holes appearing in his clothes.
His powers fully manifested when he was 13, when his hands spontaneously burst into flames when he was at school, resulting in half the building being burnt down before he passed out from overuse of his powers. His parents were furious, and forbade him from ever using his powers again. However, he continued to practice anyway, eventually gaining acute control over his powers.
Alignment: Against the serum. His powers are part of who he is, and he despises the idea of that being stripped from him.

[HEADING=3]~Undecided~[/HEADING]
[sub]That means you CJ and pwnman[/sub]
Name: Oliver Langley
Alias: Paragon
Age: 22
Appearance: Above average height, about 6'3". Weighs 200 pounds. A stern, almost gaunt face with bright green eyes, a sharp nose and an elongated chin, sporting a goatee. Has medium-length brown hair split down the middle. His body is athletically built, with the muscle only barely defined.
His costume is a gold and white armor, built to be reminiscent of the classic spandex uniforms of old.
Alignment: Neutral Good. He tries to do what's best for people as a whole; he slips on occasion, but he tries his hardest not to.
Personality: Oliver has become less confrontational to people as of late. After the battle with Mr. Gray he returned to a kinder, more laid-back mentality. He recognizes that he had spent his time too focused on his goals to help everyone, and has recently been focusing harder on stopping whatever crime he can, while juggling his new life and family.
Powers: Wields what can only be described as a weaponized form of light; capable of spontaneously generating spears, swords, and other weapons made of a solidified golden energy. He is also capable of levitation through the use of this power as a sort of "shell" that carries him. He has learned to use his power as a field to negate teleportation abilities, and can now fire the energy as a pure bolt instead of converting it into a weapon.
He has worked harder on increasing his physical capability, and with the assistance of May has significantly increased his unarmed combat skills.
Bio: Pre-Arc- At the age of 12 Oliver learned he could harness a golden energy into a wield-able weapon. With this in mind, he managed to stop several petty crimes around his city. This caught the attention of Dan Rook, or Renegade as most know him. Oliver's parents were well aware of his abilities, and feared him losing control of them. When approached with an offer to help the boy learn how to control his powers and fight corruption within the city, Mr. and Mrs. Langley were happy to oblige. He lived at home, slipping away when needed to solve whatever problem faced the city that day.
This went on for 5 years; during this time Renegade trained Oliver to harness his powers in their most powerful forms. They frequently fought small-time villains, and occasionally crossed paths with a gang called the Rat Pack, lead by a girl about Oliver's age named May. Though they fought more than once the Rat Pack proved cooperative, and provided vital information the pair wouldn't have received otherwise.
On an otherwise routine patrol, Renegade and Paragon were ambushed by a strange man in a blue cloak that could shape-shift his arms into various weapons. They fought him off, but during the battle Renegade was grievously injured, losing an arm. As Paragon was nearly killed Renegade threw himself at the man with an army of demons at his back. By the time the smoke cleared the mysterious man was gone, and Renegade's spine had been broken. Permanently paralyzed, Renegade encouraged Oliver to pursue a career as a hero, and suggested he build a team to help him along the way.
With this in mind, Oliver set out to create a team of former sidekicks, like him; boys and girls both young enough to see the good in the world, and strong enough to fight the evil in it.
Arc 1- Oliver first created the league to fight a small-time villain that had acquired dangerous technology. The team worked well, saving a bank-full of people that would have died otherwise. Oliver and Renegade took the team in at Castle Manor, a strangely-named mansion the size of a small city that Dan used as both his home and HQ. There the team made themselves at home, where Oliver subjected them to the Gauntlet, a simulation that forced them to live their worst fears. He has since identified this as his greatest failure, as it indirectly influenced members to make decisions leading to much of the major conflict.
Shortly afterword, the team arrived piecemeal to fight Dragon's team of villains. When Oliver arrived on the scene, he fought off a group of birds only to find Renegade apparently dead. He instantly identified Dragon as the leader of the villains and fought him head-on, outclassed at first. He used dirty tactics to even the odds, and all the while fought on a philosophical level as well as physical, debating Dragon as they fought.
Not long after that fight, Oliver began to track Dr. Avian, who had wreaked havoc across the city. To do this, he would need help. He went to May and the Rat Pack and secured their assistance in return for a favor that would be decided later. With this backup he led the League to distract Avian and rescue the mayor, while Dark Stanley was taken to a place to be held safely. This was a double failure, as the mayor was killed in the fighting while Stanley escaped from Curtis' team. Oliver intended to clone the mayor to make up for his failure, but at this time Gray and Gabriel, a demon and angel, arrived and influenced Jason to force Oliver to call off the plan. At this time, May revealed that the favor Oliver owed her was a date. Dumbfounded, Oliver reacted violently, but resigned to agree to the terms as he promised. While on the date, the two were assaulted by assassins, who were promptly disposed of. However, Oliver first learned of Mr. Gray here, and Jason's involvement. From here on, he was determined to bring a stop to Mr. Gray.
While Jason was in the Rat Pack's clinic, they were attacked by a pair of superhumans with the power to negate powers. Oliver and May were beaten, and a message delivered to Jason. With his second in command beginning to change sides, Oliver focused harder than ever to defeat Gray and end the conflict.
Three months later, beyond a relationship with May he had made little progress of any sort. They managed to recover a human that was using Curtis' formula, and the two of them plus May made plans to find a solvent to it. However, Renegade had recently returned from Japan fully combat-capable and with a few ideas. Oliver convinced Renegade that it was time to use up the favor he was owed by Anovas, an extra-dimensional entity that had been forced into giving Renegade power over his demons. The two began to work as a team again, and contacted the Rat Pack to assist them. With their allies in tow Renegade and Paragon invaded Gray's realm, where alongside Rachel, Tom, and a reformed Jason they fought against Gray and a contract-binded Max, while Renegade took on The Devil himself, with assistance from Anovas. Oliver bested Max fairly easily, knocking him out with a golf club. The battle with Gray was more difficult, and quickly sapped Oliver of his remaining energy. He spent what was left of his strength protecting Jason from multiple killing blows; this ended up not being enough, as he was mortally wounded in the process of killing Gray. At this time, Renegade returned after killing the Devil and wiping out his entire demonic realm, and took the others through the door to receive medical attention. Oliver was taken back to Roxanne and Kor's apartment, where an extremely drunken May found him. The two left together, leaving Rox, Kor, and a reformed Stanley to ponder what to do next.
Post-Arc 1- Shortly afterward, Renegade had returned to full hero duties, keeping the city safe well enough on his own. Around that time Oliver heard of another city on the other side of the state, where crime had begun to run rampant. He left for there almost immediately; May came along with the rest of the Rat Pack to set up a new base of operations.
Oliver and May have married during the time skip, and have a young son named Noah. Oliver has sent out a message to the remainder of the League, that if they wish they are welcome to join him at the new city, at their new HQ on a small island on the lake.
Other: Occasionally attends large-scale LARPing events, with a slightly re-purposed Rat Pack dealing with much of the city's crime.
Serum Stance: His feelings are mixed. Oliver keeps a syringe of the serum in case of emergency. However, he has seen the horrible things that can be done with both of the treatments. He believes that it could be used for good, but the risk far outweighs the benefits and spends excessive amounts of time arguing with the government officials over whether it should be used.

Name: Marcus Freeman
Alias: Flying Fist
Age: 21
Appearance: Marcus is an extremely tall and has a fairly large frame, yet not that much muscle on him, most of it is tone. His body is slightly tanned, the tan is a fairly light brown colour, one that resembles a man who goes outside fairly frequently. He has striking blue eyes, that are present even more through his slightly brown face, which is covered in a small amount of facial hair, resembling 5 o'clock shadow.

When he learned all he could there he started to use a sword and was incredibly good at these two skills. His parents were proud. He usually sparred with his brothers. He didn't get truly good until he got tired of being beaten and finally beat them both one on one accidentally breaking one of their arms. He didn't feel any regret about it and his brother didn't mind after he got better. He did bug him about it for years though He grew up in a nice city but one day while walking home from school He got mugged in an ally way by a group of gang members. Marcus was good but he couldn't beat being ganged up on so he ran away. They chased after him in their car and soon after getting tired of running Marcus realized he had started floating. He made it away safely and over the years until he turned 17 and moved to the states mastered his flying skills. He soon realized the only way HE could survive in this city was to like the other villains turn to evil. He soon learned to like the evil side of life and decided to try his hand at the big time when he turned 21 which happens to be this year. His parents are currently living their last few years happily with their retirement fund.
Personality: Happy jokey guy. Not very investigative. Will even tease around with his enemies if he is certain he will win. Usually won't get mad even during failure. Will usually devise plans for his crimes if straight up combat isn't the way to go.
