His parents disapproved, being those of the strict Catholic upbringing, and barred him from most of it. In middle school, he became more social; hanging out with friends more often, joining the school football team. He made a few friends, but lost them when he had to move away.

Walking home from high school one day, he found a box lying on its side in an alley. At first, he decided against opening it, but his curiosity got the better of him and he opened it. Inside was a beautiful guitar. He picked it up and strummed it. The trash can to the right of him set on fire. In a fit of panic, he strummed it again, and the fire was put out. He couldn't help but keep the guitar, and hid it in his closet until college, when he took it out again. He tried to start a band, but failed miserably when a hilarious accident happened thet had to do with two faulty amps and a passing dachsund. He decided to use the guitar for good, taking it to the streets to fight crime. He was known as- Dramatic pause- THE AMPLIFIER!

Clothes: Usually wear's a comfortable fleece of some kind, jean's and a tank top. When in action he loses the fleece, and grab's a featurless white face mask he picked up to hide his identity
Personality: Tries to be caring, but it comes as a kind of effort to him. Usually polite, somewhat crude, good natured and takes most thing's in stride.
Powers: His power's are that of time manipulation. As he put's it he has become 'un-lodged' in time and is now able to change it to fit his needs. It has two main uses:
Slowdown- Alex concentrates and evelop's the target in a kind of 'time bubble' where it moves at a much slower rate, but the target would perceive it as normal. Safe to use on a person
Speedup- The other half of Alex's power's are that of speeding up time, he can use it on an object and allow, as he put's it 'let father time take a bat to it'. Make's metal rust, thing's decay, and overall mess thing's up. He need's physical contact for this to work though. He can use it as a weapon, but is disgusted by the thought and believes if he did he would be crossing the line.
Bio: Alex was living a perfectly normal life, had an average education, dropped out of college at 19, and worked menial labor and odd job's for a few year's to make ends meet. Everything seemed fine until one day everything for him just stopped, everyone and everything but him was frozen, he could walk around and interact with thing's but they were always frozen in time. He spent an impossible to tell amount of time simply wandering, it never changing from an early morning in his perspective. He never tired, or hungered, he couldn?t hear anything but the noises he made, so he kept traveling in complete silence for until he heard a ticking noise, it was a small pocket watch with separate clock's on it's face. One was stopped while the other kept ticking, he took this watch and after messing with it for a bit suddenly he was thrust back into the time stream, the same time and day as when he first started his horrible pilgrimage, he later discovered that the watch had nothing to do with him becoming lost in time, but it was his own power's. He still hang's onto the watch though, as it has a calming effect on him, he proceeded to practice his ability's and has learned to use them to his advantage and in the end trying to help other's, on the whole he think's what he had to suffer through was worth it to acquire his skill. Still work's the odd job's to make end's meet though, so in the long run nothing much changed

Name: Stanley Harcroft, a.k.a Stanley Tesla
Alias: The Maw, formally Dark Stanley
Age: 23
Apperance: Short pointy French mustache, short curly black hair that he occasionally wears a beret over, Tallish, also has a Maw in each of his palms. His skin is still a bit paleish from his time as Dark Stanley.
Normal: Black turtle neck with dark blue scarf and jeans, occasionally beret, fingerless gloves to cover palms. He tries to conceal his palms, not wanting to creep anyone out that much. He has a large scar on his jaw from where Garret stabbed him, but it doesn?t truly disadvantage him in any way.
Hero:
He wears an odd combat suit that he was able to aquire from one of the people who wanted revenge from him. It keeps all of his body concealed except for his eyes which can be zipped up. Stanley never talks from his mouth when he is in it, preferring to speak from the Maw in his right hand, and letting The Maw speak from his left hand, always moving his hand to where his mouth would be when he speaks to create a creepy effect.
Power: The Maws: The maws are due to the creature that lives inside Stanley, they are located on his palms and are either opened or closed. They can shoot out the length of his arms as fast as a cobra and can bite through anything. Anything eaten is taken into a pocket dimension where they are absolutely destroyed forever and eternity. Any human flesh eaten by the maw can very slowly heal his injuries, and if he devours the body of a person younger than him he can de-age himself.
Fighting skills: Stanley knows American Tong So Do, a self defense based martial art style
The great Maw: If given enough time, Stanley can cause what is basically the Sarlacc to appear anywhere in close proximity. (he mostly centers it on himself) Usually he can only summon it to take out a small fifteen foot area around him, but if given enough time he can make a big enough one to level a building.
Personality: Stanley has changed much from his past life as Dark Stanley. He is now very protective of people, and seeks to do right for what he did in the past. He is a bit sad sometimes because he can never truly escape from his past, people that he wronged still hunt him, if he sees someone who has decided to seek revenge against him, he?ll try to reason with them before reverting to a Dark Stanley like state to hunt them.
History:
Pre-arc: Stanley was originally just a normal college student, unfortunately he failed his classes and was forced to work as a cafeteria worker at an elementary school. The children mocked him because of his failings and Stanley became more and more hateful. Then one day he picked up a butcher?s knife and sought revenge, devouring the bodies of the children before he was captured.
1 arc: Dark Stanley was in prison until a mad scientist named Dr. Avian Von Doom freed him. Dr. Avian then blew up the downtown area and left. Dark Stanley made this place his hunting ground until he went to Japan for a short while to feast on more flesh. When he returned Dark Stanley eventually learned that he was possessed by an otherworldly creature known as The Maw. The Maw?s form was later destroyed and it was forced to take refuge in Stanley?s body as his servant.
Post-arc: Stanley went with Roxane Smith to go finish college earning his degree in small business management, studying mush harder this time. He later followed her into the city, instead of partying opening a success-full book re-seller/ book store. He now seeks to repent for his past crimes. Unfortunately many of the relatives and friends who were killed by Dark Stanley now seek revenge and hunt him, many of them seek to use the substance to take away his powers, and his only chance at repentance using his eternal life granted to him by The Maw. No matter how many people he must kill, he must not lose his chance at repentance.
Stance on the Substance: No, he must have his powers to seek his own repentance.
Alignment: Wants to be a hero, so good. But will do anything to continue his path on the road to repentance, so can sometimes do evil things, A ok with killing though.

Sam has medium length red hair, which hangs down untidily in front of his face, and red eyes, almost certainly a side effect of his mutation, as his parents are both blonde with blue eyes. He wears a short sleeved white shirt, along with a pair of dark blue jeans and red low top converse.
Personality: Sam is quite laid back and tries to get on with others. However, he can be headstrong, determined to do something a certain way if he thinks it's the right thing to do.
Powers: Pyrokinesis. Sam has the ability to generate, control and manipulate fire and heat. He can produce fire from his hands, and can force it to act in any way he wants. He can also change the temperature of his body. For example, he can heat his hands to be hot enough to melt through metal. He is not invulnerable to fire, and can be harmed by it the same as anyone, unless he is actively controlling it, in which case he has learned to stop it from injuring him.
Bio: Sam was an oddity to his parents from the day he was born. His body temperature at birth was through the roof, enough to kill a normal baby. However, after a few days, he normalised and his parents were allowed to take him home, a perfectly normal baby, apart from his red eyes, which no one could offer an explanation for.
Growing up, he seemed to be pretty average, showing almost no signs of being different at all, apart from a few incidents, such as his hand melting through door handles and inexplicable burn holes appearing in his clothes.
His powers fully manifested when he was 13, when his hands spontaneously burst into flames when he was at school, resulting in half the building being burnt down before he passed out from overuse of his powers. His parents were furious, and forbade him from ever using his powers again. However, he continued to practice anyway, eventually gaining acute control over his powers.
