Rachel sat alone in the lobby of the hospital, the doctors going around frantically, trying to find out about some new plague that sprung up over night. She saw a woman come in, the same one that found her when she woke up. She signaled for the woman to come over, and she did. "Hello, Ms. Black, I hope that you have found your father's room just fine." She said, a man on a stretcher coming in behind her. Rachel looked down. "I, huh, I've just been waiting here sense I came in. I don't really want to see my father right now, too many things to say and too many bad memories." he woman frowned. "Look, we need you to be with him, that way we know you'll be safe, at least for now." The woman put her hand on Rachel's shoulder. "Now, let's go see him." She said. Rachel nodded yes, and the two checked in and headed for the upstairs.
Rachel and the woman approached the door. The woman looked at one of the two policemen, both of which where in the car that drove the woman and Rachel there and asked; "What is the status on Mr. Lorry?" One of the men turned to him. "We will have him with us by sunrise, ma'am." He commented. The woman saluted and lead Rachel in to the room. Inside, Alfred's old face was wrinkled and cold, as it always looked while sleeping. "Don't wake him, he's under heavy medication. Just take a seat, get some rest, and we'll have your boyfriend," Rachel shot a look at the woman. "Fiance, sorry, here in the morning. We can get you a blanket, if you would like." Rachel nodded no, and started to get comfortable in one of the chairs scattered around the room. She soon curled up in to a ball and went to sleep, safe in the knowledge that she had plenty of armed guards, meant to protect her and anyone she deemed needing of protection, surrounding her.
