Jason's tail punctured Oliver's suit in the chest, drawing a bit of blood. Oliver grinned; this was one of his contingency plans in actions. A whirring motion sounded as the suit's auto-defense activated. With lightning speed, the suit's programming guided Oliver's body, deflecting the attacks from his foe's tail with ease. At the same time, Oliver flicked his wrist, attempting to use his sword to slice off Jason's own sword hand.

"You've always been kind of a dick." Dream-Oliver said, shaking his head in mock pity.
"And you've always been a colossal dick, from what the stories tell." Gaz replied deadpan. Dream-Oliver made no emotional reply, but instead attacked with logic.
"You demonstrate the behavior right here. You hide behind your own insecurities with humor and insults to others. Why? You're a good person, Gaz, and you have the chance to protect people that most people don't. Why are you so hostile about it?"
"Hey, you don't know a damn thing about me." Gaz said, leaning forward in his chair.
"Of course I do." Dream-Oliver said. "After all, how can something you say be false?" In an odd split-second moment, Oliver was gone, replaced by, of all people, Gaz himself. The original Gaz gawked at this new arrival, and attempted to move to see if he would mirror his actions. Dream Gaz was having none of it, though.
"You could be a paragon;" Dream Gaz said. "the pinnacle of heroism."
"Hey, I've seen what being Paragon is like, and to be frank it seems like kind of a raw deal." Gaz replied.
"Did you forget who you're talking to?" Dream Gaz said. "If you're gonna try to be an idiot, you've met your match."
"Bring it on," Gaz said. "I've been looking for a challenge."

Jayne panicked and brought up a stone wall, which absorbed most of the impact but still shattered like glass in her face. The impact threw her through the wall into a lounge of sorts. Before Fafnir entered, she decided to prepare accordingly. A mouth of earth swallowed her up, holding her in for a few seconds before releasing her. She was fully covered in a stone armor, made light through her own manipulation. However, she was not alone. On either side flanked a similarly-garbed clone made of stone. It would require all of her concentration, but she believed that she could use simultaneous spells to make it appear as if all three were the real her.
All she had to do was wait for Fafnir to chase her, before she could test her theory.
