"I'm not sure if I could do that. It would just feel...different. And who knows if i'd deffinitly fall in love with you again under different circumstances?"

He turned to Jess,
"I don't know if this'll change anything between us, but...can you hand me your gun please? The one I gave you?"

"It's funny that this is going to happen now. When I left, my gravity patterns were being reset. And now i'm going to lose cotrol completely..."
He hesitated as Ceberus flew onto the table infront of him proudly.
Goodbye my friend. When we meet in hell, i'll repay my deb to you.
I'm sure it won't be too long until we meet next.
Dan stared blankly. What was that supposed to mean? He closed his eyes and pulled the trigger. When he opened his eyes again, he imedietly looked away from Ceberus and his eyes pulsed blue. They returned to normal and it was somehow noticable that Dan had a more inocent look in his eye. His aura was more at ease. He handed the gun back to Jess.
"You mean that much to me..." He whispered to her.

Ceberus' body turned to dust and blew away.

*in hell*
"We'll meet again soon..."

He hugged back and smiled to himself.
"No more red eyes." He said reassuringly.
It's so...quiet...

"No...i'm not sure if it's a bad thing or not. I won't be able to protect you, but...I won't be able to hurt anyone either. This feels so different. It's quieter...I feel more calm. Like all my sins have been washed away..." He hugged tighter, "Aparently...when I need them most, my powers will return. There was another thing too...he said that...it wouldn't be long before I saw him again. I forgot to tell you that he was half demon, so he's in hell. Does he mean that i'm meant to die soon?" For the first time in a while, he felt true fear. He didn't want to leave Jess. That's the whole reason he did what he did.

Dan pulled back and sighed in relief. He sat down on a nearby sofa and took Jess down next to him.
"Well, after I fled this city, I began exploring the countryside and stubled across a cave. I could hear a starnge echo inside, so I followed the sound and went in. I saw the bat and then came a white flash. I didn't realise it at first, but now I have the feeling back I remember it. When i woke up, it felt like evrything I hade done wrong had combined and weighed down inside. I was constantly stressed. The I heard the voice of Ceberus in my head. That's pretty much it really. I don't know why he chose me..."
He laughed to himself, remembering some of the good times that they had had together.
It's different but better. It feels like I can be happier now. And Jess reacted to it possitivly.
He smiled to himself,
But I feel...weaker. Like a force in my blood has gone...
