Rachel looked at the gunfight. Yup, that's Garret's handy work alright. I should probably stay as far away from there as possible. She thought, looking over the land. "So, you have anyone we could get help from on short notice? I don't want to wait to long, or the anticipation might drive me mad." Well, more mad, that is.

Rachel sighed. "Then... I can get some help rather fast. I don't really want it, but it will give us tons of mooks to throw at them. Stay here for a moment, okay?" She turned around and fell off of the roof backwards, arms spreed out. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee! She thought, wanting to share the experience with the voice in her head more than actual people. She caught herself inches from the ground and straightened herself out. "Well, time to get an asshole and his asshole army to help me kill another asshole." She said, chuckling slightly as she started to make her way towards the fight.

Garret was kneeling by the body of one of his soldiers and ripped off the dog tags. He grabbed them and shoved it in his pocket. "To many casualties" He murmured as medics carted the body away towards a parking garage where an entrance was located. Garret sighed and walked alone through the city.

Dan continued on to the back of the store. He vaulted over a pharmacy counter at the back. He looked over his shoulder and saw a corpse in the isle next to Roxanne.
"Crap..." He mumbled.
Then he felt the bullet pierce his left arm. He spun and saw a couple of riflemen satnding in front of him. They had their guns pointed at him. He chuckled slightly.
"You can't take me down. My name is Freeman damn it!"
He fierd at one, taking him down and rolled aside from the other, follwed by a kick to the face. The soldier stubled back and Dan finished his clip in the soldiers chest. He looked down at the bullet wound and winced. There was a door where the drugs were kept. He kicked it down and shouldered the rifle. There were two people inside, one was unconciouse and one was trying to open an air vent.
"Is he dead?" Dan asked.
The air veent guy looked at him, "No. Who the hell are you?"
Dan sighed, "We need to know who you are first."
"My names David and he's Andrew."
Dan chuckled, "Prowler will do for now."
"Prowler? Where your parents drug addicts or something?"
"Yes."
"Oh..."
Dan walked inside and picked up the unconcious man. David left the room and saw the corpses.
Dan laughed, "We're the good guys. Come with us. I'll take you to safety and somewhere you can get a job."
Suddenly, Dan felt a knife pirece the back of his skin. It didn't go far, but it hurt like hell. He dropp Andrew and stepped forward.
"Grah!"
He turned and aimed the rifle at him. He was climbing to his feet.
"Who are you?!" Andrew screamed.
David explained everything and Andrew tried to attack again. Dan kicked him in the back and shot him.
David shrugged,
"I didn't even know him."
Dan smirked and called out, "Kay, Jupiter, we've got someone!"

Amaranth was not expecting his attack to be blocked so easily. Luckily, the entire attack wasn't reflected back, only some of it. When it reflected, the size dwindled, making it easier for him to dodge, he jumped out of the way, but it still grazed his side, taking a large chunk of him with it.

When the beam finally disappeared, it left a large hole in the helicopter behind Amaranth, and a gap where part of Amaranth should be. He clutched his side as it bled fast. He sealed it himself with his fire skills, but knew he needed a healer. "Why didn't I steal healing powers..." he thought as he felt the pain of him healing the wound.

<spoiler=OOC>Short Post, sorry. It's exam season here, and I need to get good a marks so I can keep my scholarship... So yeah, I won't be posting the most for a week or two, I will slip in as many posts as I can though!

"Well, as you can see one of them is dead. This guy is David...yeah, he's ok. He's willing to come with us." He turned to them.

David shook his head. Dan vaulted over the counter and David follwed suit.
"Let's go."
They began to walk back to base.

David remained silent.
"Nothing important..." He said shiftily.
"Murderer?" Dan said jokingly.
David said nothing.

Dan laughed.
"Murderers don't deserve to be hidden from public."
David grunted as he pushed up and puched Dan in the jaw. Dan staggered back and kicked David in the face sending him to the floor.
David stared up at Dan.
"I murdered someone. But for a good cause. She was about to be ent to hell..."
Dan grinned down at David. He reached his hand out for David to take and helped him up.
"Let's go." Dan said.

Age: 18

Appearance: David stands at about 6Ft and has a skinny build. He has a straight face, with pronounced cheeck bones and a short beared. He has short brown hair and dark brown eyes. He wears a blue short sleeved T-shirt with a pair of jeans and a silver watch.

Personality: He's ok with revealing things to people, but generally likes to be alone. He has a dark sense of humor to match.

Powers: He can absorb materials into his skin and then reproduce the item later from his hands. He can also blend into materials such as stone, metal Etc.

Bio: David was born about one year after Dan. When he was born, his parents decided that they didn't want him and sent him to the house across the street, who looked after him well. His new family were rich and completely honest about who he was. After a while, he heard news about his brother being spotted near a cave and set out looking for him. He discovered his power on his journey. He soon found Dan, who rescued him from some souldiers in the city.

David stared.
"What was your mothers name?!" David said quickly.
"Lauret Freeman."
"I've finally found you!" David gave Dan a homey hug.
Dan pulled back, "Who are you?"
"David Freeman. Your brother. Lauret gave me to another family and never told you about me."
"I'm sure no normal person would believe that story straight away, but nowing her, I believe you."
Dan shook Davids hand.


"This'll be a good partnership."

Jess was grinning at the sight of Dan and Daivd. She turned to Roxanne and walked over to her.
"Yeah sure."

"So, do you have any powers?"

David picked up a pen from the table and it sunk into his hands. He pushed out his other hand and the pen shot from his palm.
"Also..."
He slowly sunk into the ground and raised behind Dan.

"Wow. I used to be able to control gravity. I would show you, but I can't do it anymore."

"Why not?"

Dan explained.

"Man up!" He laughed, "I prefer David By the way."
