He knelt down beside her and wraped one arm around her. He helped her up and let go. They walked outside together and when David saw it, he gasped. He felt seriously sick.
"What the hell..."
Dans body was still there, but the numbers of the devil were on his hands in blood.

"I doubt he is. This is just his back..." david said grimly, "Jess, how are you feeling? Dan told me your powers. Please, let me feel it too. I need it. I'm terrible with emotions and it'll help me with what I should and shouldn't say." He knelt beside the body and looked at the hands.

He looked closer and noticed for the first time, that it was blood.

He suddenly felt a great pain in his head. He grunted and stood back up. He walked back over to Jess and put a friendly hand on her shoulder.

David was not expecting anger. He did not take anger well. He tried to supress it as best he could.
"Jess...you two will meet again..."
He tried to smile.
"Please cut the link."

Dan opened his eyes slowly. Ceberus was floating above him. He looked different. His eyes were red and is bones were easier to see. Dan climbed to his feet and coughed some blood into his hands.
"Hello..."

"If you can repay my debt...then i'll let you go back. And all of your depression will be erased." Ceberus said straight to the point, "So, how have you been?"

"I just jumped from a roof. How do you think i've been?"

"You think that Roxanne would give a damn? Is it worth telling her?"

David gritted his teeth. This was the angriest he had been in a while.
"How nice. He told me a lot when we were on the roof. You know, he actually really liked her."
He twitced in anger and before Jess could say anything, he said "I twitch when i'm angry..."

"Ok." David said as he walked closer to Jess. He stood beside her, "Let's go."

David splayed his palm to the right and fired an explosive at the ground nearby.
"Please don't do that. i take anger very badly."
He continued to walk in silence. He was thinking about Dan and then Roxanne.
"Jess...is Roxanne with that other guy? The one in the chopper?"

David stared at the floor.
"Some people are just plain stupid..." He said.
He grinned at the soldier. It was a funny sight, but he was too angry to laugh.
"I was searching for 11 years. I found him. He kills himself. So...tell me about him..."

"So what exactly am I supposed to do for you?"

"Well, there's a dick here that I know. I want him...re killed..."

"Without my powers?"

"You'll be able to use them here. But only here."

David felt warm and happy. Happier than he ever had done before. He felt sick too. He winced and looked at Jess.
"Jess...not meaning to sound rude or anything, but I don't want to know how it felt to love my brother in that way. He's my brother..."
He smiled at Jess for a moment, "Please don't get the wrong idea. I'm not coming on to you or anything, but...I can see why he fell in love with you..." He mumbled.

David gave Jess a funny look. Then he blushed slightly.
"Umm...her name was...Lisa...and...I...heh...you know the story damn it!" He said quickly in a rush to change the subject.
