Rachel looked at Jean slowly going towards her. "Huh, Jean, you're nice and all, but Jason is kind of my new boyfriend. I don't mean to be rude, but... you really don't have that much of a chance with me... I'm sorry, but..." She trailed off, not really sure what to say.

Shadow yanked back his sleeve with his teeth and his conealed pistol jetted out into his hand. He fired twice at Renegade.

"Hey, sorry." said Jack then under his breath "Bitchy much?" Jack saw some guy run up to Garret's back, but Jack quickly intercepted the pistol whip to his head and snapped his wrist. Jack the elbowed the guy in the face and sent him to the ground unconscious. Jack quickly nabbed the guy's belt with ammo and holsters and his Beretta 90two along with his main weapon, a Barrett XM500. "You owe me two Colt Peacemakers, SIR" Jack said, the last word dripping with sarcasm. Jack then went bullet time and scaled a building. He then picked a corner of the building with a wide view of the battlefield and the least opportunity to sneak up on him. Jack inserted a clip and muttered, "Yee fucking haw boys, yee fucking haw." before he started racking up head shots and hits.

The scythe demon rushed forward, attempting to claw out the girl's eyes.

"Not a slave." The smiling demon insisted. "A servant. And of my own will, at that. He is powerful, and has earned my respect."

May prepared to attack again, but upon hearing a gun fire she instantly flash-stepped to the side, the bullet shooting past her and hitting a rock harmlessly. She swiveled around to catch Jordan's invisibility flicker for a moment. She charged forward at full speed and swung with her sword, aiming to cut the hidden attacker in half.

"I see you're still stuck in your own ways." Oliver said. "Before we start, though, I have something to ask you."

Renegade's arms coursed with dark energy. As the slicing sword came down Renegade's left armed knocked it away with an outward block. His right arm then punched towards Lucifer's chest, releasing a torrent of energy to maximize the strength of the blow. The residual energy given off by this caught Shadow's bullets in the air, detonating them before they reached his body.

"He must be quite the powerful man" Tef said as the grabbed a cup of tea off the ground and took a sip out of it. "Would you like some tea?" Tef asked calmly

Jordan stepped backwards and then stood atop a rock in the shade. His body instantly disappeared.

Garret walked slowly and methodically towards May examining her stance. Her only advantage over me is her speed He observed as he switched the hydraulic support in his suit to maximum.

Upon the loud and close gunfire, Jack turned with the sniper and saw May running at full speed at nothing, though with super humans it obviously was something. Jack quickly turned on bullet time, even with this though May was still at normal human speed. Jack quickly fired of four rounds at May, trying to at the very least distract her, though with any luck he was hoping to hit her. Jack held his breath and went out of bullet time.

Rachel reached behind her back and put her hand around her pistol. "No, you can't." She started to move the pistol out from the back of her belt loop. If this fucker puts a hand on me, his brains are going on the wall. She thought, looking at the man's hands closely.

The grinning demon sat down. "No thanks; drinks are rather pointless in my case."

The bullets shooting towards May missed completely, the extreme distance having not been accounted for. However, the shots did grab the attention of a superhuman on the ground, who jumped up to meet Jack. He was a human skeleton, dressed in a black suit. His fingers were razor sharp, which he used with a swipe towards the villain's face.

May faced Garret, her sword held in a simple stance as she judged the best avenue of attack. She rushed slightly to Garret's right, then made a full-speed charge while slashing her sword.

 

[Vesuvius Hetlan]

Indrakshi twirled the black blade around her hand as she elegantly twirled around the deamon's charge. "Nope." He felt the slashes over his body a second later.

Shadow smiled "Well it looks like I'm useless, currently so I'll withdraw." he smoke-warped to the location of his master. "Where are you? Goshuujin-sama?"

"To be honest I expected you to try and kill me" Tef said as he sipped more at the drink and stared at the man. "You probably still will"

Garret snapped his arm up quickly and blocked the slash. He held the blade on his momentarily and then drew back. Once again Garret took up a defensive stance with the objective to not harm May on his own.

Uh Jack has superhuman senses, plus it's a long range weapon and he's only on a building right by them but whatever i guess

Jack quickly went bullet time and rolled backwards, the claw of the middle finger catching and making a deep burning scratch diagonally across Jack's face. "Piss off." said jack before swinging the sniper's shoulder strap around and taking out his side arm, he then fired off 6 shots at the skeleton's face.

 

[Vesuvius Hetlan]

Shadow saw Garret-goshuujin-sama fighting with a girl. "Hmmm...Defensive stance...to much of a risk." He quickly lit four cigarettes and the smoke reached out around May.

Rachel slowly moved the gun so that Jean could see it, but didn't say anything about it. "No means no, Jean. Now get the fuck away from me." She stood up and backed away slowly. "And I know what he's doing. In fact, I was going to go help him until my powers were taken away. Now drop it and I won't shoot you." She added, making the gun a little more known.

"Maybe it is, but I'd rather let you know what I'm willing to do than have you do what I know you're trying to do." Rachel put the gun away and, without saying a word, retreated to her room. She locked the door behind her and grabbed her sword, putting it in the seethe at her side. I need to find a knife, too. A sword won't do anything for me if I have to fend him off from up close... She thought. She laid down on her bed, but didn't fall asleep. She wouldn't fall asleep as long as Jason was gone and Jean was still here.
