Oliver stood up and shook Max's hand. "I've been good, Max." he said with a smile. "Glad to see you're still--" before he could continue a strange man approached them. He turned to face him and nodded.

"Paragon would be me." He explained, looking over the man. If he knew Renegade he might be worth talking to, but he didn't recall Dan ever talking about someone that fit this man's description. "If you'll hold on just a moment, though--"

He finally turned to face Roxanne as she spoke. Oliver, rolled his eyes, thinking about his conversation. "Truth be told, I'm here to scope out the sides. I've been around this city the last few years, and ever since this serum started to be mass-produced I've been running simulations. I'm not liking the results, to be honest. The mayor assured me everything would be fine, and invited me to the rally to see how the pro-serum group behaves themselves."

He took in a deep breath, after the long speech. "But that's not really important right now; how have the two of you been?" He asked his two previous team members.

<color=darkred> Randall clapped slowly, seeing if the others would join in. When they didn't, he shrugged, and said, "Bravo, bravo! Exhilarating! Extraordinary! Most entertaining! Now then, who will be next...? Come now, don't be shy!" Realizing he was in full-on ringleader mode, Randall stopped there, and instead decided to smile profusely.

Alfred put himself at ease. Good, this is the kid. Hope Renegade wasn't being an asshole again and really set me up with some terrorist so I have to take them down by myself. I still don't forgive him last time. And he still owes me that churro. He sat up in his chair and folded his helmet back. "I was also told you might know one of my family members. She helped you kill some crazy lawyer or some shit."

" drunk" Max said with a smile. " but wanting to be a hero again " he said as he walked around ." Good to see you guys.

"All right then." Oliver said. He turned back to the stranger that had approached him and replied "That depends. There were a lot of people in that fight." He yawned a bit, remembering that he hadn't slept in a while. "Who are you talking about?"

"It's not really important, but Rachel, the telekinetic. I don't know all that she did then, but she's my daughter." Alfred looked a the others. "Just wanted yo all to know that, and that I don't take kindly to words against her, so, if you're going to say something about her that I might not like, I would suggest you do so when I can't hear." He shrugged towards his two bow-staffs on his back. "But let's not harp on it. The name's Alfred, by the way, but you all probably know me better as Galaxy."

Max twidled with his beard as he looked at the scene unfold.He laughed when he heard Alfred being Rachel's dad.She hated me even after I saved her boyfriend. What a nutjob He thought as he looked at the others."Whats your guy's stories?"

Beat was tapping her foot to the song.
'When's stuff gonna start? I'm starting to get bored.'

Max turned to the girl and frowned."Be patient! And I did ask you a question and all!" He yelled to get past the song that was playing."God those things will melt your brain if you leave them on too long" He said jokingly. "Now whats your story?"

She turned up the music.

"Oh..Kay... Wierd.." He said as he looked back around."Paragon do you thinks shes old enough to even be doing this? She sounds like shes 10." Max said as he looked back and saw the stubborn girl listening to her music."I know were all young, except for you sir." He said gesturing toward alfred" But she seems immature as well." Max said with a smile.

Alfred looked a the girl with headphones. "Wait, meanie? Jesus, what are you, five?" He looked at Max. "You better call me sir." He laughed and turned to face Paragon. "I hope you called us here for more than just some talk. I don't like sitting around when there's bad guys for me to beat the crap out of." He said, his helmet folding back on, making the second half of his sentence sound like it was coming from a thirty year old.

God I love this synthesizer. It makes me sound like I'm not ancient. Oh, and makes it so that bad guys are looking for someone way younger than me, but sounding sexy is what I made it for.

It's not fair! Everyone treats me like a kid just 'cause I'm not a super genuis! They're all the same! They'll see when I kick some baddie butt that I'm just as good as them!
She turned the volume down a bit.
'What did you just say about me?'

Oliver listened to everyone talk, but arched an eyebrow when Alfred spoke. "I think you're mistaken, sir. I didn't call the rally, I'm just here to observe. As for the girl, I'd just try to tune her out. If we're lucky whoever IS in charge here will shut her up once they start speaking."

'Shut up! Just because you're jealous that I'm younger then you!'
She sent a small wave towards Oliver, just enough to make him fall over.

Somewhere far away, Dr. Magenta braced himself, for reasons unexplained expecting a psychic wave... but none came.

Oliver stood back up silently, brushing off a bit of dust on his arm. He looked at the girl and sighed. "Confrontational, are we? Pretty rash decision to make; you'll have a lot of enemies if you keep that up for long. I suggest you just take your seat and wait for the rally to start."
