Rachel was somewhere in Chinatown, half lost and half exploring, when she heard her phone ring. It was a ring that was slightly familiar, but also a little new. She Looked into her pockets and pulled out her old phone. Small, barley any features, a dark blue color. Why had she kept it? In the hopes that someone from her old life would call and say "I want to meet you again"? Maybe so that she could always be reached. She picked it up and put the phone to her ear.

"Who is this, why do I know you, and do I have to kill you?"

Kor stares at Roxanne momentarily. "You never really were a hero in the first place Roxanne." Kor says simply "The only thing you ever did was attack garret the first time you saw him, besides that you have been hanging out with villains"

Kor looks out the window. "You know that your powers won't go under the radar, Something will happen, you will show your powers and then bad things are going to happen." Kor says as he turns back towards Roxanne. "You almost burnt my face off four years ago, what if someone who didn't regenerate had that done to him or her? It would be terrible."

Kor sighs

Rachel nearly melted upon hearing that voice. It was one that brought back memories. Some good, some bad, but all memories. She felt like she could cry, and yet, like she could also yell in happiness. "T... Tom?" She was confused. After years, one person had contacted her, the one person that she thought would never contact her again. The one person she had betrayed. "Is... is that you?"

"I believe there was a thing, It was dormant though, not fully there. It wasn't just you" Kor says and lets out a sigh. "I guess we won't really see each other after you leave."

Kor looks around momentarily. "You still need to open your present you know" He says

The briefcase contains a sliver cylinder that looks like a dog whistle and a note titled "From kor and garret." "Blow the whistle, It will summon a hawk that has been trailing you since garret left." Kor says
The note reads. "Happy birthday Roxanne! Hope you have fun!"

"Not really poetry" Kor says weakly

"Er..." Kor begins as he scratches the back of his head. "Sure, lets go to a movie or out to dinner or something."

"I have been out of my head my whole life" He says

Kor gives a little quiver as his flesh morphs into a black suit with white a undershirt. Classy, forever

"I... I," Rachel's old life had just hit her like a ton of bricks. If she said yes, there wouldn't be any going back. She would have to accept her old ways, her old life, back, and would never be able to become just a normal person anymore. Her eyes watered slightly. "I... I'll go." She hung up as fast as she could and turned the phone off. She had, again, decided her path, without even thinking for a moment, like so many times before. I... I think I just... She sat down against a wall, held her legs close, and began to cry.

Hey, don't cry now. It's not like it's the end of the world. You can just tell him "I am not getting back into fihgting again". I'm sure he'll understand. No, he wont. He wouldn't call me after more than four years just to talk. He needs something from me. Maybe that wedding you promised him? Shut up! I don't need anything from you right now. Just... just shut up! She began to cry slightly harder, but eventually calmed down. "I promised him this, I wont go back on it. Not this time, at least." She began to walk in the direction of the restaurant, still arguing with herself in her head.
