As jean charged and sliced at Dren, he brought up his shield and counter charged holding the shield out, his sword poised above his head aiming to slam jean with the bulky shield.

Dren spun around and managed to get out of the direct slices from the knives, scraping his armour. Dren backed up and summoned a large circle of fire around jean.

Hivemind listened carefully to Oliver's statement and attempted to make a casual remark "W-w-ell... Not all of us emit energy you know... to attack you know." He shivered slightly.

Oliver had had enough. He reached forward with his good arm and grabbed hold of Ashe, lifting him off of his feet and ragging him off. He entered the atrium a few rooms in and brought the young hero to a terminal, where he set him down. He opened the terminal and brought up the Renegades' database.

"If you're going to sit here and complain, you can at least work while you do it. I want locations. All of Minus' bases of operations, all of the places our future selves commonly visit, and any old battle sites. We'll start there; if we're going to find out what Minus did with him we need to start figuring out how he thinks. Charmer can pull up bios on Minus and everyone in his employment, as well as the Renegades whose past selves are working for him now. Any questions?" He asked in an irritated growl.

The fire on jean expanded and slipped onto his neck. Instead of burning it gave a cold, tingling sensation. Scenes of terrible things he had witnessed appeared exaggerated as they were drawn to the surface of his mind.

Dren managed to block a blade but the other penetrated his left bicep. Dren grunted and dropped his shield. He dodged to the side and grabbed his sword with two hands. Dren than began attacking back with a variation of horizontal slices.

Ashe looked at Oliver, and pulled out a small blade, he had found it in his room, and found it greatly increased his speed. "No question" he said, before standing up and putting his forearm across his throat and pushing him against the wall, "Don't do that to me again" he said with a menacing tone.

He threw him from the wall, and moved back to the computer. "What kind of douche would detail every single thing he does during the day? Or right, just you" he said as he brought up Olivers section. Sure enough, there was an input for every time of the day, every person he had beaten, every person he had lost to.

"Er..." Magus cleared his throat and strode towards the group to get Oliver's attention, "What's going on?"

Could you please read posts more carefully, my character was annoyed at you AND ashe, she also never yelled.

Ana had been fuming since Oliver had insulted her and threatened to tell Ashe. She looked behind her towards Abhaya, neither of them had moved since Oliver had taken Ashe away.

"You might want to stay here, there's going to be a LOT of yelling in a moment..." with that she winked and stormed off towards where Oliver had taken Ashe, fuming all the way. 'Stupid....STUPID man... Thinks he can threaten me? Ha! I've worked with enough douche bags to know how to stand up for myself and ignore such ignorant behaviour... She was going to have to take a stand now... She wouldn't let herself be bossed around again.'

When she got to the terminal she listened to Oliver's voice.

Ana watched with a wicked sense of happiness and pride as Ashe put a fore arm to Oliver's throat and stood up to him. Ashe was speaking to low for Ana to understand exactly what he was saying. But even from her position she could understand that it was either insulting or threatening.

Ana coughed to make her presence known. With that done she marched straight up to Oliver and punched him square in the jaw. She placed her weapon of choice back in her hand, where it began to glow... She would have to explain to Ashe later that this was because she had broken it upon impact. The fact that she had punched him probably didn't physically damage him at all, but she didn't care. She was running with her temper, and for once she wasn't feeling even the teensiest bit of remorse.

"Do NOT presume that you can threaten me. I'll tell Ashe what I found out when I'm good and ready, and if you ruin that, well... I gave you some of my life energy, and I'm sure some of it still flows within you. I can always take it back..." Ana was sure her face was bright red. "Also, if you ever try to boss me around again? We are going to have serious problems."

"Oh," Ana decided to add. "The energy forces that were present in Minus' base from the other people brought here with us were strong. I can sense life energy and I can tell you that none of them are too far away. If we can somehow regroup I believe that we could defeat Minus. Ashe was right, and despite what you think I am taking his side because it is the more logical option." With that said Ana turned around. "Oh and I wont be helping you by the way. Do it yourself."

With one final 'hmph' Ana left the room.

Ana turned her head to regard the new comer... He must have been there the whole time so she wondered why she had only just noticed him. He looked very effeminant for a boy...hmmm I should probably be careful with gender labels...

"Me?" Ana questioned...no one had ever asked her that before... He must be talking to someone else...

Seeing that he was getting nowhere with Paragon, Magus moved over to where Alex and Ana were talking.

"Is something wrong?" he asked.

Well, you gave a mild generic scolding for arguing, but pretty much the entire rant was directed at Oliver.

Oliver stood still as Ana left the room. A speck of blood trickled down his throat from where Ashe had placed the blade. After a few moments, he chuckled to himself. "You're both being idiots." He stated calmly. As Ashe returned to his work with a smug look on his face, Oliver decided he wouldn't attack back. He was above that. But he would show why he wasn't to be messed with.

He lifted his hand straight up. By his calculations, the only rooms above him were his, so no one had a right to complain about what he was going to do. His energy arm formed, a nearly blinding energy, before firing out as a blast of pure energy. Even Oliver wasn't prepared for the raw power behind his blow, as the torrent of energy blew a clean hole through the roof. The foundation of the base shook as Oliver let his attack loose. The suit powered down for a moment, gathering its energy that was just expended by Oliver. Apparently the attack had a potency nearly thrice that of any attack he had used so far. Oliver even suspected it could rival Jason's Supernovas.

"THAT," Oliver explained to Ashe. "is what would have happened to you if you had tried that on any villain worth his weight. Like Minus. An attack like that could wipe out the whole team if we aren't careful. And THAT is why we need to be prepared. I need to go find Charmer."

He left the room and went after Ana. He spotted her talking to Alex. She had been starting to remind him of his old teammate Roxanne. But she had a good head on her shoulders, Oliver just needed to find a way to get her to see reason. As soon as he saw them talking, he ducked around the corner, letting her work out her aggression before approaching her. As soft as it was compared to an opponent like Fafnir, he preferred not to be punched in the face again.
