Hivemind sighed as he waited patiently for something to happen. Everyone was fighting and his head hurt from dealing with it. He quietly sat down at a computer terminal and began tapping away at the keys to find something about his mothers. Sure hope this works..
Ashe shook his head and chuckled to himself. 'Oh I can't wait to show him Emergence' he thought to himself. As he was looking around his room, he found a long katana laid across the wall, underneath it was a name plate, simple titled 'Emergence'.
He was confused at the sight of it, but grabbing it, he realised his future self must have put lots of work into the blade. Just by holding it, he felt power rush into him. His mind was clearer, he felt stronger and everything seemed to slow down. He put the blade back, and instantly got a headache. It didn't last long, but the sudden changes hurt his head.
He sighed and kept working on trying to find any possible leads to help their cause.

Minus clapped. "Good fight." he called out to Dren and Jean. Minus had walked in about mid way through the fight, and had watched it go on. "You should stop now before any of you gets to hurt." he walked over to them, "Okay, rest up. The gangs are rallied, I just need to get them an... advantage, and for you guys to be ready"

Ana paled... These people were showing concern for her feelings. That hadn't happened since... Well before she left the White Mages as a child. Her temper abated somewhat as she watched the two people in front of her.
It became clear that niether of them really knew who she was and yet they felt concern.
"I-I'm fine... Just hot headed..." She blushed. "I just can't deal with jerks like that being so controlling... Past ''hero'' issues I guess you could say."
Their conversation was brought to a stop as Alex moved his head to look at something away from them.
"Anyone there? Oliver is that you?"
"Umm..." Magus said, "Does anyone else feel like we're being watched?"
Ana's anger had finally dispersed... She still felt untrusting and hurt by Oliver, but what could she do? Surely breaking her hand again over a do nothing punch wouldn't help... She supposed she'd have to apologise... But considering that she saved his life and was only trying to prevent him and Ashe from fighting, he had treated her as some sort of inferior vermin... Sure she was only a white mage, but she still had just as much skill and intelligence as someone like him did... She sighed. 'Why do I have to always be the weak one'

Hivemind responded to Ana's question "No. Its Abhaya. I'm still here." His voice contained a mildly exasperated tone. "And before you ask yes I was here before. I didn't leave."
"Still, can't take any chances." Minus said and shrugged, "Don't worry, plenty of killing for you soon. I even have a way to make you go into a frenzy before the fight" Minus said, he held out his right hand, and a few drops of blood trickled out. He just smiled as he stopped the flow, "Its yours before you go into the fight, I'll put it in a vial for you."
Umbra had followed Magus and was listening in on his conversation with some of the others. Past hero issues... been there She thought sympathetically. "Yeah, I've been there before too," she commented. Getting back on track, Umbra stated, "It's possible, but don't worry about it too much, Magus. Now... I guess we should have stated this a while ago, but... I'm Umbra and this is Magus," she introduced to the two in front of her and Magus - did one of them look familiar? No matter. "We got sent here by Minus as well, and... we were hoping that we could join up with some of the others to find a way back."
While the other heroes around the corner spoke, Oliver listened. Controlling. Is that what she calls it? I guess that's the gratitude a person gets when he's trying to protect someone that doesn't want protection.

Anywhere, at this point. We need to see what the group's opinion of us is - especially if they think we're with Minus - and I, for one, would like to get back to the past at some point. It may not end up with what was planned, but I thought they'd established a hierarchy and had their act together. No plan survives the first encounter, and all that... We still have the same endgame, and we can always get to it later, but first we need to make sure they don't come after us.

Fair enough. But... since we're about to talk to that guy... what was his name? The one that shouted at us when we told Minus we'd join him? Well... since he's here... and I'm guessing he's in charge... we probably should avoid the topic of Minus if we can.

Well, I doubt he's forgotten us; and once they get everyone together, they'll know anyway from our exploit back at his mansion. I agree that bringing it up a lot will be bad, but I'm just mentioning it so it doesn't seem like we're hiding anything.
