League Of Sidekicks 3: Future Perfect -- Closed and Over...

Oliver had gained a massive head start on Jason, and his suit gave him a speed boost. He figured he had a good fifteen minutes before Jason caught up to him. He looked up at his destination, Minus' mansion, which loomed just in front of him. He took a deep breath. May, Noah, Buck, Gaz... I never even got to say goodbye.

He thought no more about his family. He raised up a hand and brought it up to the door, prepared to knock politely.

A massive shockwave of energy then tore down most of the entrance to the house, and decimated the hallway just beyond the door. He walked in and dusted off his cape, which he had taken a a machine for repair before coming. It cast him as a very impressive figure.

"Knock, knock." He said in a loud voice, though not a yell. He began to march into the headquarters of the enemy, to take them on one last time.

Minus heard the large boom resounding from downstairs. "What in the hell?" he asked himself, before sending down a small minion to try and find the problem. Minus pulled out his metre and a half long sword just in case.

The small minion saw, Oliver, and ran away, alerting much larger goons to Olivers where abouts.[/color]

The one who controlled the wall, submerged himself before Dren could do anything major, and then popped up a fair while away from him. He broke open the floor around Dren and tried t swallow him up, if he fell in, the walls would close, hopefully crushing him.

Oliver walked further into the mansion, hearing squabbling noises as some of Minus' goons gathered to try and attack him. He set Flit to work, who quickly identified the room the most were gathered in. His suit revved and whirred a bit as energy was gathered for an energy grenade of sorts, which he casually tossed into the room and detonated before moving on.

"Where are you, Minus? I don't have all day."

"Sir!" A young woman's voice cried as she dashed into the room. Up on a commander's chair above her was her leader. He was draped in a blue cloak, but in the safety of his own base he was comfortable enough to leave it as a cloak and not the full-body wrap he wore into combat. Even then, his face was shrouded in shadow.

He went by many names, Cloak to his enemies, The Blue Snake among fellow villains, Diablo Azul to a little village down in Panama, but among his subordinates he used his true name. Or, codename--

"Hellion, it's Oliver!"

"What about him?" Hellion asked, very clearly too bored to want anything to do with the situation.

"He's attacking Minus and his minions--alone!"

That got his attention. "What?" He asked, sounding surprised and exasperated as well. He stood up, his blue cloak draping down to his shoulders. "Kayla, be a dear and fetch my armor, will you?" He asked a young woman working at a set of terminals in the corner of the room. She stood up, saluted, and ran off.

"We'll have to move quickly." Hellion said, quickly striding out of the room. "That mansion is too far away for us to reach on foot. Someone go wake up the pilot and prepare the helicopter, please."

Rachel composed herself quickly and looked at Alex. "Well, the files say we should go to a city called 'Electric Shield.' It says that ti's controlled by Minus, but that we should be able to find some resistance members there with a hero that can take us back. Not sure how we're getting everyone there, as I don't think many of us can fly, but I'm sure Oliver had a plan. Maybe a plane or something." She said.

As Rachel posed her curiosity over Oliver's hypothetical "plan", the wall opposite them lit up. A subroutine left by Flit began to work, and a large arrow pointed down the hallway. More arrows were lit up all around the HQ, leading the Renegades to, presumably, some mode of transport.

Rachel was a little surprised when the arrows lighted up, but shrugged it off in an instant. "Alright, let's get going, everyone. The sooner we get out, the sooner we can stop this." She started down the hall and caught up with Alex. "Hey, huh, sorry about freaking out earlier. I'm just a little creeped out by some things... but let's move on from that. You asked about me, right?" She asked, smiling at Alex. Nice kid, I guess. A bit odd, but... hey, I am, too.

"Well, I'm not exactly that big... I mean, I was for a time, but I'm nothing special. Just another telekinetic trying to be normal. As for food, we're going to have to wait until we get somewhere. There might be some ration tins or something. We can't make a stop somewhere to get food. Just to risky." She said, looking at Alex. How can he be thinking about food at a time like this? People are dying out there, and Jason and Oliver are going to get themselves killed while I have to lead a bunch of kids to war. And this kid wants to know if we can stop for some food. Just deal with it for now, you're almost 30, you can make it through this...

Rachel nodded. "Yeah, I know what you can do. Or at least I think I know, saying as you were crushed under a building and didn't die, I would say you were an immortal. Fought one of those before. Didn't go down easy.... Anyway, I'm not really sure if my powers come from my head or not, though I think they might... but yeah, it means I can lift things, throw things, crush things, shield things... I can do a lot with it, really." She said. Well, at least he's not that shallow. God I hope the others don't want trivial things like that right now. Last thing I need is to make a stop so one of them can update their Facebook or something...

Rachel stopped for a second. "Well, huh, it's kind of stupid, but, huh, I kind of threw a desk at a kid in school... My parents didn't believe me... until my mom saw me lifting things from across the room. She... didn't take it well. She, huh... we're not talking about this anymore." She continued to walk and went past Alex a bit. Damn it, I need to shut up some times...

Dren managed to crush through the wall and looked at the man and snarled. He cast flames around him that soaked into the ground weakening the stone and lighting it ablaze in hopes of stopping the man's escape, Dren then launched some fire at the man himself.

The man who controlled earth looked for a way to dodge, but the only way was to jump off the wall, which wouldn't end well. Just as the fire neared him, another guard stepped in a deflected the earth off the wall. His hands had small blue discs, used to reflect magic back away. A few of the police on the ground opened fire on Dren, their main focus getting him off the wall.

Ashe turned around quickly a she saw the door open, then Rachel and Alex run down it. He turned around and took Ana's hand, "Come on, lets go" he said to her, "You too Hivemind, we should need you too" he beckoned as he took Ana with him down the secret passageway.

Minus sighed as he heard the explosion. "Damn henchmen are useless..." he thought as he walked to the adjacent room where he had heard the explosion, where he could just hear Oliver call him out. He moved his large blade to his left hand, quickly realising that it was hard to control without power coursing through it, so he swapped back to his right hand.

He sighed and jumped into the air, the blade brought down quickly, slashing straight through the floor, after his slash, the blade fell from his hand and he pointed his red hand towards Oliver, and sent out a barrage of Ice towards him.

As a barrage of ice needles barreled towards him, Oliver used his preferred method of deflecting missile, by crouching down and converting his energy arm into a large shield, which easily deflected the small bolts. His good arm then gripped a newly-formed broadsword, which he swung in a wide arc, releasing a wave of energy from it that shot towards Minus.
