"Flit." Oliver whispered. The AI curiously asked him what he wanted. "I can't move. I need you to do it for me."

The servos and gears on Oliver's armors whirred as the hero started to move. He was in intense pain, but on the outside at least he appeared to be moving as if he were uninjured.

"Accept it?" Oliver asked. "I never came here expecting any different." Oliver made a piercing yell in protest as Flit forced Oliver's arm to throw a left hook at Minus.

Jason was flung away, speeding through the air like a haywire bullet, before plummeting back down to the earth again. Jason luckily had enough time to bring up his armor before crashing into the earth with a loud snapping noise. Dirt billowed up around him, concealing where he lay in a cloud of dirt. Jason coughed, bringing his armor down and trying to get over just being thrown away from a battle he had just been fighting.

God damn it Oliver... you looked dead when we were fighting, and now I know that you want to die in that battle. If that's what you truly want then I can't stop you... Jason thought, pushing himself out of the dirt and looking back at the smoldering ruins of Bright Grove.

Jason sighed, and tried to bring out his wings but to no avail. They had been damaged in the fall, and they wouldn't be any use to him until his they healed which would take a while. He had never had to heal his wings, so he would simply walk back to Bright Grove while they were healing.

Rachel hurried into the headquarters, going through the fake wall. She was expecting to hit it and break her jaw or something, but instead ran right through it. She followed the others down to the HQ. "Alright then, we're here. We should make this quick and get back to fix this. Where's the hero?" She asked coldly. Come on, if we hurry, Jason may still be alive. We might be able to get home...

Hivemind looked from one soldier to another one. He spoke up. "So are you guys Mercs or Sanctioned?" He hoped his question sounded innocent enough to avoid suspicion.

Minus ducked underneath Olivers punch. "Good, you're ready to die then." he said as he stepped into Olivers range. He placed his left hand upon his chest quickly, and the power of the suit began to fail, he was taking the energy from the suit instead of Oliver.

"Lets just say we don't have ordinary bullets" one of the soldiers called out towards Alex. He and a few others began to laugh at the statement.
The leader turned around, and they all stopped, "This Hero, what is his power?" he asked "We have and had many heroes, which one do you want?" he continued on, asking his question, "And it is not wise to leave for a few more minutes. Minus troops and all. We will kill them all, but still, it isn't safe."

One of the soldiers looked at Hivemind, "We are made up of the free people of Electric Shield. The only ones left in fact."

Hivemind looked sympathetically at them. "That's terrible, I'm very sorry to hear that." He looked at their guns. Not bad. Not bad for militiamen at any rate... "What's the caliber?"

Rachel shook her head. "All I know is he can take us back somehow. I'm guessing that he has some kind of time-travel, but I'm not sure." She said. She kept her voice cold and professional, and made sure to not make any sudden movements. Alright, not the first time I've had to deal with people like this... but definitely the only time I've had to work with them...

I'm pretty sure it's not the caliber that makes those bullets special Umbra thinks as she follows the 'free people' soldiers... Umbra was suspicious of them, as it wouldn't be impossible for Minus to lure any heroes into a trap, hence why she was staying in the back. Regardless, Umbra took a professional tone and commented, "Given the circumstances, we're probably meant to look for your tech specialist." If it were someone who could go back in time under their own power, they'd probably be strong enough to think of challenging Minus directly - especially the past Minus.

<spoiler=Smaug> I did send you guys to go on a mission to take over a country. You should be off doing that now. In case you missed it, its a sky island, and its on incredibly high alert due to Fjeld.

"As That chick said, The calibre doesn't matter" One of the guards said to Alex, Hivemind and Umbra. "It is a recent discovery by us. We call it a sealing round. Being hit by this stops your powers for a split second, we made it for the fight against Minus... But it did not work well... Works well against people with normal powers though." he finished answering them.

The leader coughed loudly, "Again people? Really?" the man he was addressing looked at his feet and stopped talking, trying to make himself as small as he could. "He turned to Rachel and asked, "Get Back? To where exactly?"

"Well, you see" a soldier started saying, but as he did, their leader pulled a gun on him, "Seriosuly? Third time you guys." he said as he pointed the gun at the man. They all shut up and backed away, trying not to be the next person to annoy him.

Uh... where would Magus and Shadow be at this point?
Is anyone going to answer my question? Without an answer, I can't really post again.

Under his helmet, Oliver smiled as Minus attempted to drain his suit's energy. As he made contact with it, a massive electrical pulse coursed through Minus, throwing him away from the suit. But even after a moment, the suit did not move.

"Flit, what's happening?" Oliver demanded.

"We appear to be out of power. The suit's charge drains it of its power; it was intended to be recharged with Oliver's--sorry sir, I meant your-- energy after each attempt. But vital scans indicate you do not have enough charge to return the suit to full power and continue the fight. If you give me half power, I should be able to get us away so that you can recover and--"

"No."

Flit, startled, asked if he heard his master right.

"You did, Flit. Even if I escape I won't be any good in the fight. I'd be useless now. I'm going to recharge the suit. To full. And then we're going to beat Minus into the ground so badly he won't even be awake until the others are out of his grasp."

"But, sir, you're not strong enough! How can you possibly charge the suit back up if you're--oh..." said the AI, with a stunned realization. Oliver closed his eyes and concentrated, pouring his energy back into the suit. A golden glow emanated from the costume's interior as it was restored its ability to move.

Aboard his chopper, Hellion was waiting impatiently as they made their way toward the battle. But suddenly, his wrist began to beep and a tiny light blinked red. He cursed and slammed his fist against the wall of the chopper, tilting it for a brief moment and nearly giving the pilot a heart attack. They were too late.

"Pilot! Change course, we're going after a new target!"

"Wait master," one of his young assistants pleaded. "if you stay on course you can still kill Minus while he's weakened!"

"Oh don't worry your pretty little head Lana, I'll kill him when it's time. But not a moment sooner. You see, Minus interfered in my little game, and I'm going to make him pay. And the best way to do that is to rub it in his face how powerless he is when he tries to play in the big leagues. If you'll allow me to make an analogy, it's a bit like a game of chess. He's sacrificed so much to take my Queen, there's nothing in the way of putting him into checkmate. Understand now?"

The young woman nodded and smiled. Hellion smiled back. He leaned back and looked up at the ceiling. Underneath his hood, those with him could have sworn they saw something like a tear welling up.

[hr]

After a brief moment of powering up, the suit entered a battle stance, its energy arm crackling with energy as it shrunk into the form of a whip. It uncoiled at lightning speed, and cracked at Minus' face.

<spoiler=Doctor>It was answered. I answered it.
I said that you and Meggles/shadow heard the fight between me and Oliver/Jason, and were going to help.
Or.
You could go jump on one of the wheel things, and do exactly as I told Smaug to do a few posts up.

Minus was slammed back as the spark went through. "Okay, time to stop being arrogant." he said to himself as he stood back up, straightening his clothes and dusting himself off. "I always hate using this" he said to Oliver, as a green mist left his arm, covering his right arm and feet, "Such a waste, using the last amount of healing magic I have just to kill you seems stupid. Maybe I shouldn't have been so arrogant?" he said as Oliver charged up. He clenched his fist and jumped a little. Both the bleeding and pain had stopped, so he just smiled, "Come at me then"

When Olivers whip was sent forward. Minus reached up and stopped the whip from smacking him in the face. His white hand stopping all the energy from burning or hurting his hand, but not enough to male it disappear. "Too slow" he said as he held the Whip.

The young soldier looked at his sergeant, who shook his head. "No can do." he answered back, "Unless you are working for Minus, then we have no reason to shoot you..." he looked at Alex, "Maam?" he guessed.
