Simple as that.

What is your least favorite gaming genre?

Mine is fighting games because even if you master all the controls, moves, attacks, characters, etc. You can still get your ass kicked by someone mashing buttons.

Pretty much this. I'm also not fond of any kind of simulation, unless it's "simulating" something that doesn't happen in real life, such as mech combat.

First person shooters. Mainly because I am TERRIBLE at them, and they really dont normally provide entertainment for me. There are occasional exceptions, but yeah.

Hurray, another line stolen from Zero Punctuation! Yaaay!

OT: Sports games.

And it's all because of one single game that I loathe the whole genre so much...

Sports games. Not only are they as interesting as a piece of shit on some grey paper, but they're the same basic god-damn game every year.

Fighting games. Followed closely by Sports games, followed closely by pure platformers. LBP is an exception for platformers because some of the user-made levels are awesome (like the ZP levels).

Sports games, why the hell go play a simulated game whilst you can go out and do it yourself? I don't see the point in simulating a stupid game in which 22 dumbasses run after a ball and when they finally have it, they kick it away.

Hell, I even tried RUSE
Though I would say it never looked that great to me anyways.

I've only just noticed that I do have a rather healthy appetite for all genres, RTS games only being an exception because of my awful computer (I never play RTS games on a console - it just doesn't work).

I guess the games that infuriate me most would be turn-based ones. I can play them, but boy do they piss me off sometimes.

This. Also most of sport games from EA looks like... a fraud in my opinion.

Sports, 3rd person shooters and dating games.

Console FPS as well, makes my hands feel retarded when I can't aim perfectly on the same games I can on my PC. Which is a shame as the console versions are what my friends tend to play.

JRPG's.I guess androgynous characters, turn based fighting, random battles and level grinding just don't do it for me

Wow, lotsa people going with this one. My dislike for sports games is mainly due to the pro-evo freaks who play to the early hours of the morning just down my corridor. And yeah, EA do coin it in a little bit with the same games every year.

RTS's for me. I don't know why, but they just never appealed to me.

Sports games are a close second, but I've at least had fun with a couple of those; I've never once had fun with an RTS.

Crap Games.

Its an entire category to me that largely consists of the millions of mediocre cloned mmorpgs and the millions more bad browser games.
