Definitely Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing. When you win it says "You're Winner".
I mean.....come on.

Not sure if this has been said, but PsiOps ending with complete understanding so tantalizingly close.

Indigo Prophecy.

Pretty much the last quarter to the ending, which fails to answer the questions about the previous 3/4 of the game and while you do get a choice of endings, none of them are particularly satisfying.

Fallout 3. Basically just went "Grats u win, oh btw we spent all our time developing vats and train stations so we wont bother with a cutscene, but enjoy the slide show!"
90% of the time I skip cutscenes in games.

Stalker: Clear Sky had a fairly ambigious ending, though it is rather unavoidable for a prequel that didn't just want to reinterate what was a given in the first game.

alot of bad endings available. but i still hate FFIX for killing Vivi at the end without so much as a cutscene. At least FFX had an overdramatic airship leap.
Wait. Did they kill off Vivi?! Suddenly I'm glad I never made it past the final dungeon...

I was shocked at how bad Mass Effect's ending was. "Grats, you defeated a nobody in the grand scheme of things, now wait for the sequel".

Assassin's Creed was a close second, as many mentioned here.

HATED the end of Planescape:Torment. After all that greaat stuff to get a text ending?! Ugh....
Well, PST wasn't really a game, it was a book in digital form with some fetch quests attached to it. You should be glad it even had graphics.

KOTOR:2

I don't understand why they made such an awesome game to balls it up so severely right at the end.

That would have to be Halo 3. After the huge campaign and the epic hype for the game I was disappointed with the end cinematics, including that at the end of the credits.

EDIT* I liked the music though.

Dont know if this been mentioned before but I just finished Prince of Persia (PS3) and was left incredibly unsatisfied. I dont know about the DLC yet but it seems its ubisofts way of trying to make up for it.

The girl dies after sacrificing herself to seal away the evil god.
The hero decides he gives a damn and decides to break the seal again to bring her back to life by cutting down a few saplings. (some seal, pff)
She wakes up, ask why. Then without a word he carries her away from the temple.
A sandstorm aproaches them from behind, the evil gods face appears as the sandstorm swallows them up. (gee where did we see that before?)
I get a trophy called "to be continued.

Seriously, if the hero wouldve stayed the smug jerk he was through the entire game I wouldve found it much better. He shouldve just left to find his gold laden donkey. He can probably get plenty of fanny elsewhere. Gods stays sealed, and all is well with the world.

Fallout 3 was by far the biggest let down up until Broken Steel was added. Now I can actually do shit after I've saved the world!

Also, Too Human was pretty annoying. I know, I know, it was a bad game in general, but the storyline actually seemed alright, so I played all the way through to see what would happen in the end. Once I got there, I realized that I really should never have even considered getting that game in the first place. I probably don't need to worry about spoiling anything because I'm the only person dumb enough to actually play this game all the way through, but I won't go into any details. Suffice it to say that there's no god damned closure, and I'm not buying the sequel to get some!

I apologize if it's been said... but i'm not wading through twelve pages to see if it has.

The newest prince of persia.

Yes, i know some love it and i understand why. But still. It's not a bad ending, just a supremely unsatisfactory one.

I wouldn't say the 'worst ever', but Fable 2's ending recently disappointed me chunks

okay, so we were theresa's evil pawns the entire game. WTF?!
I don't think that's what they meant by
"The spire is mine". I think she just wanted to stay there, or at least that's the way I inferred it. The choice you get to make, though, was great, I loved that I had to think. Oh, and I'm new, so sorry if this whole thing doesn't show up as a spoiler.

The new bionic commando. It gets you swinging into things (pun intended) and you are ready to beat the shit out of the final boss and hello dramatic cutscene.
