I don't know what the Beiber experiment was supposed to test. Pop music has become an autotuned, talentless, wasteland; ravaged and war-torn by the music industries need for the next big thing. But when they give this kid a label, it's almost like it was a joke. They've built this kid as a punching bag. Don't get me wrong, I hate his style, but he's about as popular as any star that you like. And if you buy a poster to draw a mustache on it, you're still buying a poster.
I try my damnedest to not pay attention to him, but he's just fucking everywhere. News, magazines, adverts. That's pretty much why I hate him more than most of the crappy celebrities. Other than that, he's just another untalented star that'll die out eventually, even if he gets INCREDIBLY annoying.

plus we have a male majority here at the escapist and men have a natural born hate of really bad things that teen girls go crazy for, a scorn developed in our own teenage years e.g. Twilight and the actors associated with it, or for my time in high school i had to listen to teen girls pointlessly babbling on about titanic and Leonardo DiCaprio for hours and hours.

No, in no way can I force people to have opinion that appeases me. I am simply saying it just annoys me. I am very aware of the fact that people hate Bieber for his looks etc. I am just saying it plain annoys me when they ONLY hate him because of the way he looks because part of vocal music is expression through the voice, not the way you look.Jewrean said:
