So, I can't really look forward to L4D2, except to maybe hope Valve has a SUPER UBER AWESOME Steam sale for L4D to celebrate the release of L4D2.

i'll only get it when it's price goes down... because personally L4D1 didn't get any proper updates, so I don't see why I should waste more money if I didn't get what I was promised out of the first one.

Same here. There are a bunch of games higher up on my list than Left 4 Dead 2 right now.

Valve hurt my feeling by not giving me all the DLC they promised for the first game so i will not be getting Left4Dead 2. /sarcasm

Actually it would be a good idea. L4D2 is planned to be able to play L4D1 campaigns as long you have the first game. That's 5 more extra campaigns for those who never got it. A month before L4D2 with a nice price tag, say...15 ?/$/£ or less, would draw alot of new players.

Actually I bet that Valve will do something like that.
It is known.

I have to admit, I loved Left 4 Dead and am exited about Left 4 Dead 2 but im not going to midnight release.
