I am in fact not excited. I have not played L4D, nor do I intend ever to do so. I have watched people play it, and frankly, it is not something that I would spend money on. Nor do I care that L4D 2 is coming out.

To everyone who is excited: Good for you! It's nice to look forward to a game, yay!

Not terribly, no.
I've yet to play a Valve game, and I don't plan on breaking that streak.
I can understand how you can decide to not be exited for the game if you have never played a valve title, though I have to ask why the seemingly angry stance against valve?

I might rent it in 2013 so I can reminisce after Stephanie Myers has made zombies sparkle as well.

I loved playing local co-op L4D with my buds. I do hope the sequel is more dynamic, but at least they are trying to improve on gameplay a bit and not just making a sequel for sequel sake.

I'm super excited. I can't wait to see how verses is going to work, and I can't wait to jump in and play the new campaigns. It'll be great.

>_> I call dibs on Nick.

i got to playtest l4d2, and i'm hugely excited over it. the new cluster breaking infected work perfectly, and theres another new infected which i can't talk about. (They asked nicely, and let me play their game.) The melee weapons work great, and theres some new regular weapons as well. Same l4d fun (but without the old characters D: ) but a newer, shinier package that has a chainsaw.

Too many reasons to doubt LFD2, I will have no need for it anyway, because of the mass of games coming out.

Nope. L4D (tew) should be an add-on at best. "Why?" you may ask... if you didn't then don't read on...

Anyone playing Team Fortress 3?

There's your answer.

TF2 is still going strong and constantly updated, tweaked, and has had multiple content additions of which I didn't pay a dime after initial purchase. Still no TF3, and it's been out how long... so that leads me to wonder about this little social experiment. They're wondering if people will pay full price for a ver 2.0 based off a mod, from a game. I'm guessing yes, in droves.

Speaking of TF2, it looks like the Heavy and the Scout models made the L4D2 cut with a few cosmetic tweaks.

Screw L4D2, I wanna play L4DTF2+1, which will be the final evolution where they fully involve the TF2 cast and weapons, with L4D environment and objectives.

Fuck Yeah! seaking

It Proves that both Geeky college chicks and Southerners are great at fighting Zeds.
I'm both! I'm practically guranteed to survive a zombiepocalypse!

As long as they say, "skillet" and not, "Pan."
