are you kidding me? tf2 has the best dialouge out of all valves games, all that color and variety

i just wish that valve would take at least another year to make this to come up with new stuff, but maybe they will suprise me

Anyway I don't see anything wrong with said cheesy dialouge in L4D2, mostly because so far the only thing serious about the L4D series has been the people "boycotting" it.

I hate the dialogue, they just come off as wanna-be bad asses.Where did the good old dialogue go? It was awesome. The only thing I like about these survivors are that one of them is wearing a t-shirt with Depeche Mode, world's most awesome synth band.

I was listening to the dialouge and praying that part was still in the early phases. Compared to every other Valve game the voice overs sucked. However, if they do have one person that uses bad puns frequently that be deadly fun.

Me and my friend were joking around about that, and I think he said there are like 4 of those things...

I think the sequel for that movie came out the week after the first one - now thats not leaving enough time between releases.

To be honest, Coach is the only character that I like, based on what I've seen so far... They just don't see as great as Bill, Louis, Francis, and Zoey were.

But maybe Valve will change my mind. It wouldn't be the first time.

I love bad puns more than I love my own safety.

No but seriously. I would love to hear some super cheesy pun laden dialogue added to one of my favorite games from the last few years. I personally think adding silly lines is a good way to get word out too. For instance: Francis hates everything. We used to quote his "I hate xxx" lines all the time at work. People would ask us what we were talking about, and we'd tell them. We got one kid to buy the game based on the ensuing discussion, so I think this could only help the game.

did anybody else notice this dialouge? Do you think this is a pleasnt adition or a bad idea? i personaly whould just like to hear less anoying phrases such as the infamous PILLS HERE!!! phrase. what do you think about the dialouge in left 4 dead. or even just the survivors in general. their really was no need to really change the survivores in my opinion.

I like when Louis says "grabbin' pills" it's pretty funny.

I think if you play a game like L4d or its sequel for dialouge....you need some serious help.

as Yahtzee said, you can sum up these games with one phrase:
"here are some zombies, kill them"

they are in a completely different state....UNLESS THE F***ING ESCAPEVEHICLE DRIVER ZOMBIFIED IN FRONT OF YOU I DONT THINK YOU WOULD SEE BILL IN NEW ORLEANS.... Although Louis possibly to save his great grand mother or cousins or whatever. In short I agree with nearly every change valve has made, I didnt quite like half the team being black at first {no rascism intended} untill I learned where it was taking place. some slightly less corny dialogue and Valve will have {once again} made a spectacular zombie game.
