I recently watched the Legend of Zelda movie "The Hero of Time", and as a Legend of Zelda fan I was horribly embarrassed. In case you couldnt tell by the title, the film is supposed to be about the events of "the ocarina of time". But the filmmakers completely missed the point of the story. I dont want to talk about what happens in the film because this is filth that needs to be seen to believe.
Even to somebody that knows nothing about the series, this film would offend them. Im talking about horrible acting, horrible writing, and horrible directing. Almost every scene in this piece of garbage was filmed in front of a green screen.
I'm sure that the makers were probably going for a re-imagining of the story. But does one of the greatest video game stories ever told need to be reworked. Its supposed to be created by the fans, but I find that hard to believe because no fan would want to make this. I starting to think that they have not even played the game, it feels like all they did was glance at the ocarina of times wikipedia page once.
Im getting a little too worked up now. I was only able to watch the first 70 minutes, but just couldnt see it through to the end.
Has anyone else seen this thing, and if you feel intrigued you can easily find it online.
