Hey guys small story first.

I was just biking down to a small liquor store so I could get some candy and soda considering the boring day. While I was biking down there I saw one kid who looked to be 8 years old and his younger brother holding up signs that said " Lemonade " " icecream " " Just 50 cents! " and I stopped my bike and couldn't help but spend the measly $2 I had . Ofcourse as to be expected the lemonade was very sugary and the ice cream was melted but I couldn't help buying from them.

So for discussions sake what do you do when you see a childrens lemonade stand?

Probably buy the business stand off them for a few pounds, then take the business onto Dragon's Den and make much moolah.

Murder the children, say to their parents i've never seen them before, and offer them some extra thick strawberry juice.

Never seen one.
Kids around here are lazy...
I've never seen one either, and I probably wouldn't buy from one. Also, check to make sure they have the required permits.

The front page story in the local news paper today was literally about how my city shut down two 12 year old boys' lemonade stand because they were selling lemonade on city property and didn't have a business license. They were raising money to buy new sports jerseys for their hockey team or something...I wish I were kidding.

Walk around in yellow fluorcent jacket with a clipboard, looking all official and wait for someone to buy said lemonade. When they do I wait for them to drink it and then approach them and tell them "did you know lemonade posses serious health risks".

Well actually I ahve never seen a lemonade stand. Must be an American thing.

I usually just ignore it. I don't trust the kids here anywhere near enough for that kind of thing.

I wouldn't buy anything from them, kids think like this, "Object A does this well so it must do this well also" resulting in them adding liquid soap to their "lemonade" because the soap is yellow and smells of lemons, or adding way too much of one ingredient because sugar tastes nice, so lots of sugar must taste amazing.

I'm putting too much thought into this, so if you want a dumbed down reason, kids can't prepare food/drink, they're unhygienic and probably sneezed in the drink.

I've never seen one, but I hear a few people talking about the ones their little brother's and sister's set up.

EDIT: I forgot to answer the question. Ehhhh I'd buy some. Couldn't hurt.

The kids these days are more likely only using the lemonade stand as a front for their weapon/drug deals.

I'd have to stop and see what they had on offer, even if it was just for humour value (blud).

When I say kids I mean like 8 or 9 year olds. They aren't exactly THAT stupid.

The way my city is set up lemonade stands just don't really work. I did have a kid come up to my house selling lemonade once though. I wish I could have bought some from him but I didn't have any cash.

Yeah, them selling everything he said was very likely in my neighborhood, back before I moved to the side of a busy highway in another city. Now nobody has the balls to set up a lemonade stand.

I'd probably buy a lemonade, to be nice. Of course, I gave a homeless person three dollars for directions the other day, so maybe I should be rethinking my approach here...

I set up a bigger better stand next to them and sell my lemonade at a better price and put them out of business.

OT: I can find it within me to ignor them but i usually dont. The funny thing is that i hate lemonade so really its just for the kids not my thrist.

Don't know... depends on which of the kids around here are selling it, some I would, others I would rather walk past casually pouring some cocain that I bought from them, into the lemonade, then buy some and take it to the police.... or just walk past listening to my ipod xD
